tl;dr great spot, just don't get anything bigger than a 16oz. I've been coming here for about 4 years now and I really do enjoy their coffee. My go to is the Super Nova, their caramel mocha. The decor is great from the Rat Fink accessories to the always Simpsons themed seasonal menus. The automotive theming is really a great homage to the racing heritage that is found in Claremont, or more rather, Pomona. Complaint: What I don't understand is the pricing for their large size!!! If a 12oz is $5.25 and a 16oz is $6.00 (a $0.75 increase), how is a 20oz $7.75 (a $1.75 increase)?? What type of pricing scale is that?! Can somebody please make it make sense for me? Even if they are drawing 4 shots for their large instead of the asummed 2 for the medium, maybe they should indicate that.

It had been 18 months since we were last here, so we decided to visit with a friend who hadn’t been before. We ordered our usual favorites: Lavender Matcha, Hippie, and a Pizza Bagel. We also decided to try something new and went for the Strawberry Hornet. Unfortunately, our recent visit was quite disappointing compared to our previous experiences. The customer service wasn’t the same—staff seemed less attentive and friendly. The drinks and food, which we once loved, were just so-so this time around, and definitely not worth the high prices they charged. Overall, the experience left much to be desired, and we’re uncertain if we’ll be returning anytime soon. It’s a shame to see a place we once enjoyed so much go downhill.

Great vibes, and Stumptown coffee! It's pretty rare that coffee shops nail both aesthetics, and good coffee. This place has both! Granted I am bias toward Stumptown being I spent 3 years of my life living in Portland, OR. I was super delighted with this spot. I got the Road Runner, and breakfast burrito. Both were great! As much as I like Stumptown, there are other Coffee Shops that serve better coffee of their own Roasts, however that isn't the point of this place. Ultimately, this place is a hangout spot for automotive enthusiasts. It'd a place where good food, good coffee, good music (amazing music when I stopped by) and cars/bikes all come together.

I am hesitant about the rating of 4/5, and I wish I could give like 3.5, because this coffee shop is really messing up in a few key areas. The Cold Start and Easy Rider coffees were both fantastic. The vegan breakfast sandwich was just okay, and the Prius sandwich was pretty good. Now to the areas for significant improvement: The food was extremely overpriced for relatively small portion sizes, and the coffee was probably a little overpriced. The menu clearly draws a divide between normal food and vegan food, with nothing in the middle and with slight jabs at vegans. This is immature and alienates many possible customers. I'm not offended by names like the Prius or Hippy, but I think they contribute to a really toxic culture within food politics that pits people against each other. I would really like to see more vegetarian options on the menu and a more subtle/conventional labeling system. To return to the price, if I spend $15 per person on a meal and coffee I should leave feeling full, and at Rev'd...

Rev'd Up is good when it could be great, which leaves me deeply conflicted about the whole experience. I want to love it (I am a regular customer) but usually something's a bit off. The staff means well and seems friendly, but they don't really move that quickly. The atmosphere is truly unique, but the music is so loud that you can't hear when the staff calling out your name when your order is up. The menu items are delicious...but a bit pricey. On more than one occasion they've been out of seemed like basic food items (maybe due to COVID-19 supply chain issues?) It's rarely the same thing each time, but it's usually something.

If the shop is just a place where college students matriculate through for the part-time pay and a few good memories, fine. I can accept that. We live in a college town. But little details keep slipping by, and someone needs to step up and own them. Do that, and this scene could be truly special.

Keep pushing, y'all! I'm...

Hmm. This place. I’m a very frequent customer of about 3 years and I am often ordering an espresso drink (either the cold start or the cookie butter latte) but recently, and for quite some time this place has left much to be desired. The sandwich sizes are soo uncomfortably tiny especially for the price and they charge $20 dollars for a .5 gallon of cold brew. Do with that what you will. I also came in one day, the place was empty and my drink was wrong. The barista gave me a size smaller than what I asked (which here it’s like a 3 dollars worth difference) and she simply put the made drink in a bigger cup and just filled the rest up with what I’m assuming was milk. It did not taste like the flavors it’s supposed to have at all. So I paid close to 9 dollars for a 16oz coffee that I did not expect to taste the way it did for it to be my first coffee of the day. A shame. I don’t know...
