Memorial Park is the heart of Claremont. Major events happen here from 5k races to the whole 4th of July extravaganza. Every day it's a pleasant park. Always clean. 4th of July in Claremont is a throwback to a simpler time. Memorial park is the staging grounds for the parade. There are booths from all the local vendors and a pancake breakfast. Claremont is a beautiful town. A national Arbor city, Claremont, gives a small town feel on the middle of the urban scrawl. Memorial Park is a great place for picnicking, playing, jogging, or a pick up game of softball. My family and I have been multiple times for their 4th of July celebration and it is a lot of fun!
