After having a bad experience here during my second visit, the owner was kind enough to reach out and apologize for my experience. I decided to give this place another try and I’m happy to report, that I have been back three times after and I wanted to update my review from 2 stars to 5. My experience since has been nothing but lovely. Lily is so sweet, takes her time doing my nails and the experience has been amazing. This is definitely my go to salon and I even brought my sister here and she loved it. Highly recommend and if you go ask for Lily. First time I came here, I came on a Friday around 5PM & they were busy but super nice and detail oriented. They took their time with the service and I didn’t feel rushed at all. My second visit here on a Monday at 5:30pm, my service was super rushed. The place was completely empty aside me and one more person and they did my manicure and pedicure together. The lady doing my manicure rushed through the processes and left my nails looking a mess with clear and color gel all over my skin, my cuticles were not cut properly and the whole service was uncomfortable as it felt extremely rushed. I understand if you’re busy and you want to take other customers; however, when you’re not busy at all and you don’t close 2 hours from when you take the customer, take your time throughout a service. Also if you’re going to offer a drink to one person, maybe offer it to everyone else. Very rude & unprofessional customer service I had a free pedicure coupon for my birthday, so I called a day before to make sure they’re taking this coupon, the lady says we do! I told her I’m coming tomorrow on my birthday date cuz you have to show the ID, she said yes sure! Today that I’m in! Greetings at beginning were fine, but after I showed the coupon, their faces changed and they were asking me if I have an appointment.. they even didn’t say Happy birthday as a courtesy!! After all they asked me to wait 20min and they took the coupon and put it in the garbage in front me with an attitude! They made me WAIT FOR almost AN HOUR!!! they had 2 customers walking in and took them before me!! What a disrespect! I told them I need to pick up my daughter and she was asking me if I can come back tomorrow after waiting for 1 hour!! If you’re not able to welcome people and respect them especially on their special day! Why would you send these coupon!!! This was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I came to this salon specifically because I wanted gel x nails, and couldn’t find anywhere else that had them. I called to book an appointment and the receptionist was unfriendly. Once my appointment began, I said I wanted short or extra short length gel x nails. The lady (same person who checked me in) refused to do them, and insisted tips would be better. She poorly applied them and didn’t even check to make sure the nails were all the same length (they weren’t). The worst part of all was she cut me with the drill THREE TIMES, and proceeded to work around it and get acetone in the cuts. It got to the point where we had to stop the manicure to dry off the blood. She didn’t say a word. I have never left a nail salon with my hands looking worse than they did before I came in.
