GAME STORE Dragon's D — Local services in Clarksville

I was in Clarksville with my family running an errand, and we decided to stop by this place because we saw it on Google Maps. What a FANTASTIC choice that was!

The Dragon's D is a tabletop gamer's dream store. Jason, the owner, was super welcoming and nice. We also spent a long time talking to Joe (thanks for the store tour!), who showed off a ton of the terrain he had been working on for DnD. He was incredibly patient with our two kids, who were both beyond excited about all the cool stuff to see in the store.

It's a shame we live an hour and a half away, or else we would 100% be regulars here. You can tell this place is truly about community and providing an amazing space for nerds (and the nerd-inclined) to just hang out and have a great time with like-minded people.

Very friendly staff. Just recently bought the Warhammer core rule book, and the staff offered to try out a beginner kit that they assembled as well as informed me about events to sit and watch to familiarize myself with the game. I come in at least once a month to check out the Pokemon card selection and always end up browsing and soaking in the atmosphere. Every time I've gone in, there have been people playing various games on the tables inside. The music is always good, and the prices are so much better than any corporate store or Amazon, plus the vintage figurine selections are just amazing to look at. Man….where do I begin? As soon as I walked into this store, I was stuck in one place by shock and awe, as I looked around the store and took in all of the riches it has to offer. I literally spent 1 hour and 45 minutes in this store looking through their items. I loved it. I will be going back FREQUENTLY. They host DAILY D&D games 5pm or 6pm-10pm, except Tuesdays because they’re closed, and they are very warm and inviting and welcoming of all.
