I love my engagement ring; my husband did a great job of picking it out. However, in February I snagged my ring under the car seat and it bent the halo, I took it in on Feb 13 and they said they could fix it and would have it back after valentine’s day, I had no issues with my ring before then. When I picked it up on Feb 15, everything looked great, however I noticed shortly after that every time I brushed it up against anything like a sweater or a blanket it would snag and grab threads, it didn't do this before. When we took it to another jeweler, where my husband bought my wedding bands to have them soldered together, the lady appraised the rings and pointed out to my husband that the center "diamond" was in fact a CZ, he was furious. When he purchased the ring it was on sale, he paid for a diamond to be put in the ring and he had no reason to assume otherwise. My husband went in to speak with the manager and all the manager wanted to do was point out that my husband got it on sale, yet the sale prices versus what he paid for it was different, the difference was the exact amount the diamond cost. Finally, the manager went back and got a diamond from the back, one that fit the ring exactly, and offered to put it in the ring for an additional $165??!!! He paid for the diamond already, he just left, he saw no point in continuing to argue that point with the manager. One of the actual diamonds in the band of the engagement ring was lose already also and due to the trust issues that I now have with Kroeber's, I chose to pay to have the other jewelry store repair that. Read moreGiving it 1 star. I brought back my ring engagement ring to get texted before my wedding a few weeks ago. My mom met me there and I was looking at wedding bands. Mina Feli took care of us. I told her I needed my engagement ring resized, she asked me multiple times if my ring was real silver. I told her what the value is my fiancé paid for and she kind of laughed and told me no. She had a snobby attitude towards me and my mom, talked down to me . We purchased a wedding band that day. My mom said something to me as soon as we walked out asking what her deal was. Thursday, I picked up my wedding band and was helped by Bailey. Bailey was very nice. Today my engagement ring was ready. I walked in and was greeted by Mina Feli, and I almost said I would wait for someone else. But I figured I would give her another shot. I told her I was here to pick up. She told me I had a total, which I didn’t know I did which is fine. And I told her I had to go get my wallet out of my car. She gave me attitude and argued with me about it. She demanded me to step behind the computer and I said I believe you. I just wasn’t aware. Not a big deal. Went outside got my wallet. When I came back in she was rude to Me again telling me to step behind the counter kind of pulling me back by my sweatshirt. Koerber’s do better. This lady doesn’t know how to speak to people professionally. All I experienced in my 3-4 minute visit I was being talked down to and given no respect. Read moreI went in to have some work done on a few pieces. I first asked if i could have my silver David Yerman earrings polished and the ear rod fixed. She told me the cost of polishing and fixing the rod would surpass the cost of the earrings and that i should throw them away and buy new ones. i asked how much it would be and she whispered “65$”, i said that’s weird because they’re 1,000$ earrings. she then began to question me on how i knew that when i was trying to leave and “checked again” twice when i asked for my earring back. she also pointed out the 925 stamped on the inside which is how she knows they aren’t real or worth anything, which ACTUALLY tells you exactly what i said they were, high quality silver. I was with my mother and law when she got them for me at a David Yerman store so i know exactly how much they cost. EXTREMELY disappointing and disgusting service, i didn’t even ask about my other pieces that needed to be repaired/resized. she probably would have told me they weren’t real either. i can’t even fathom what her end goal was. avoid getting jewelry...
