( I guess I'll FINALLY write my review since I won't be back )
My first couple of times here were okay, and when I FIRST started coming here, I would go to Sara(because she had the best reviews), however... I had an appointment for a full set, and I was sitting there for QUITE some time before she decided to stop lollygagging around and come sit in the chair to do my nails! She was constantly getting up during my set, eating and doing everything else! I was SO ANNOYED (but I was still kind of new here at the time & I didn't have another nail shop to go to... & I THINK I STILL tipped)... this was strike one!
I went back for a pedicure (because I ended up changing nail technicians within the shop that I WAS satisfied with) but my pedicure was all of about 15 minutes (I CANNOT MAKE THIS UP) I was even more mad than the incident with the full set (so no.... I did NOT leave a tip) I just figured I'd stick with just getting my full sets done there & my pedicures elsewhere.
Now... I'd just got back from training on the 7th & I called on the 8th to see if I could get an appointment with Harry, but to my surprise... they said he no longer worked there! I was automatically turned off! Sara answered, and INSISTED that I come and SHE'D 'do my nails for me.' But.... when I got there, she threw me off on somebody else saying she had a "meeting" at 7 p.m... (funny... around 7:05 pm. She was at her station polishing her d*mn nails š¤£) I was LIVID... because the lady doing my nails was TOO ROUGH, & she didn't care how she was doing my nails! Here it is, not even a WEEK later, and my nails are already lifting! So that was my FINAL straw with them! Since Harry is gone, I definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām super bummed writing this because the reviews were so great, but mine is the total opposite. I wasnāt going to even post this but my gel polish is lifting on several nailsā¦. 3 days later
It seemed like my tech was training or very new- which is fine, people need to learn somehow. There was a severe language barrier- which is fine, but it was to the point I was unable to communicate my needs such as the towel being so hot it scalded my fingertips.
I was cut on my toe with the cuticle cutter. Then I was cut with the same tool on my pinky finger and proceeded to bleed for 10 minutes straight. The tech applied alcohol on the cut but it wouldnāt stop bleeding because it was such a deep cut- ended up using 3 coats of liquid bandaid. Then another cut on my ring finger. Both my toe and fingernails were shaped unevenly and some were even rough at the edges. Then comes the towel part, he asked me if it was too hot and I said yes too hot. The towel was shook once (literal steam and condensation pouring from it) then wrapped tightly around my hands/arms. It scalded my finger tips as shown in the pictures attached. At this point I really just wanted this experience to be over and to leave, plus it was more than clear it was impossible to communicate anything with him. I had to go home and file all 10 of my nails because they were so uneven and rough.
After this wildly unpleasant experience I figured maybe it was just the technician and Iāll give them another try but with a different one. Well, now 3 days later the gel polish is lifting already so thatās not happening. I guess my search for a salon in Clarksville continues. Very, very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been here several times. Itās been hit or miss. My visit yesterday was my last one. I had been hesitant to get a pedi done because another time I had gone there and I had had a lady that was pretty rough. Yesterday it was unimaginable the kind of discomfort I experienced. I endured the worst pedicure of my life. Mind you, Iām a patient person and have a high pain tolerance and I did let the nail tech know several times that what he was doing was hurting. From the drill cutting my cuticles, the file cutting my skin under and around my nail, to the skin clipper tool they use to remove dead skin around the nail cutting me, he was extremely aggressive and seemed inexperienced to say the least. My toes had never burned so badly once that alcohol was sprayed before color application. The color wasnāt the one I asked for and he didnāt even ask me if I liked it like they usual do. But I was ready for the experience to be over with. The nail tech next to him was sweet to me and asked me if I liked it and I was truthful and said no and that it was painful the whole time. The lady who seemed to run the salon who checked me out at the end also asked if I liked it and I let her know how painful my pedicure was. I still ended up paying the full price of $100 plus tip. The pedicure was around $50-55. Iām not one to make a scene or ask for a free service but I did expect at least a discount maybe. These pictures are...
