Goodwill — Local services in Clayton

Visited twice since they opened. Was disappointed. The first time I walked through the entire store, gasping at some of the prices! For example, there were several misc. items with the original retail sticker price on them,(1.99) and the Goodwill price was HIGHER. (3.99) Things were just over-priced to me. I love shopping 2nd hand stores & thrift shops, so I'm pretty familiar with ways considered reasonable pricing. The 2nd time I went, I,again, walked around looking for anything that stood out as a good deal to me... I walked out with nothing. Goodwills in general have gone up on prices, honestly... not cool, but you can still find some treasures for cheap if u get lucky. This particular Goodwill, however is of the priciest I've been to (& I've been to A Lot) I gave 2 stars, because despite the steep charges, it WAS very neat, clean & organized :-) (they did just open though, so hopefully stays this way) Also, the staff was friendly :-) (PS, 1st trip I did end up a pretty necklace and earrings that were all priced at the front for $3.99) Living nearby, I'll visit this location again after they've been open sometime, in hopes that by then they've received enough complaints and bring...

Honestly me and my 16-year-old son do a lot of Goodwill shopping looking for vintage and things of that nature and this Goodwill is fantastic it's always super clean priced Right an always have what we're looking for, and the staff is unbelievable!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BY FAR THE BEST WE EVER HAD we LOVE EVERYONE that works there!! FIVE * service!!! If you like thrifting definitely check them out!! I don’t know who is doing the pricing now but it’s getting ridiculous. Goodwill is supposed to be a thrift store with inexpensive prices not retail prices. Today I stopped to look and used cereal bowls were $4.99 each! I can go to Walmart next door and get one for a buck. A very small nightstand was $40 and was so rickety it probably would fall down under the weight of a lamp. There are other goodwills which are more affordable for those of us on a...
