This review is not for the individual store. It is for the Spectrum Company. I started with Spectrum in Oct 2019 at $35. As of today 1/21/2025 my bill is now $114.99 and I see a note in small print that states that my bill is going to go up another $3. Need I say more? Every year the cost increases sustainably. I call I try to get it reduced but the reduction is never a lot and it is only for a year. Then I have to go through the hassle of calling again to get it reduced. I spent an hour on the phone in Dec 2024 trying to get service for $50/mo., unsuccessfully. I was put on MUTE and NOT HOLD so for an hour my privacy was invaded as the representative could hear everything going on in the room. A new customer gets a better price than someone who has been a loyal customer for over five years?! As I was canceling my service tonight they offered me temporary price deals. I have already changed over to a new provider and Spectrum's equipment is in my trunk. I told the customer service rep this repeatedly. I had called a few days prior today thinking canceling was going to quick and easy. It was not and I was offered "deals" again. That call took so long I had to hang up before I was able to cancel my account. What part of disconnect my service and your equipment is in the trunk of my car do you NOT comprehend??? Read moreAround mid-September I walked into the Englewood Spectrum with a ton of equipment in hand and ready to abandon Spectrum altogether! After listening to my internet connection failure woes, Justin offered some really good advice to fix my issues. He stated that I was overloading the limits of my equipment. I took his recommendations for the system upgrades I needed to optimize my house size, number of technologies used simultaneously and speed requirements. I wanted try the upgrades first before writing my review. I am HAPPY to report that Justin's formula is working like a charm! I no longer drop zoom meetings, my security cameras do not have slow connections and my TV is not freezing up during my favorite shows.
Additionally, Justin and Chris from the Englewood location have been quite helpful with our service needs. My interaction with them both has been great. They are efficient, knowledgeable and show genuine concern for customers. The store gets a bit busy at times, but the wait is not extreme.
Please pass along this commendation to Justin for his stellar advice and professionalism. Chris helped with coordinating an on the spot service call. Read moreTerrible customer service!! Recommend you go somewhere else, even if it is a drive. Another customer was in there being helped when I walked in. A rep was there saw me check in and then walked to the back, never returned, then another rep walked in the front door saw me then walked to the back and didn’t return. I was in there to return a modem and nothing else. When I asked how long it would take, because the other 2 reps never came back out, I was told to take my modem to to UPS because it would be an hour. I was already in the store and was confused what would take so long to just scan a modem and return it, I had already canceled my service so they did not have to worry about that part... why would I drive to UPS? I asked if another rep in the back could help, I got an eye roll and he went and asked... the other rep came out, was very rude, scanned my modem and typed a couple things and I was done in under 3 minutes... something that I was told would take a long time and be an hour wait. Complete laziness. Get a better staff. Also, the other customer in there told me he waited at the door for 30 minutes with no other customer in the store and 3 reps were just on there computer and didn’t say anything to him until...
