New World Toys and Collectibles — Local services in Clayton

I have spent a good chunk of change at this shop and have never been disappointed in my purchase. This is one of the best ways to shop local and also start fostering a community of TCG players and collectors. I’ve gone in before just to grab a couple packs and ended up talking with 6-10 friendly strangers which is always nice in today’s world. The staff are always very king and honest even when the gentleman who owns the shop is taking care of other business matters/is away. I try to get into the shop once or twice a month. Definitely hoping the best for this business. We see all these corporate companies popping up around town and we can’t forget about small businesses who deserve a chance to thrive and have longevity. What an amazing small business! Took my son here for his 9th birthday as a surprise. My son already told me how nice the people were in here (my wife and him have come here before.) I asked if he had any 9 year old birthday specials jokingly…. Honestly it blew my mind when he gave my son not one, but TWO Pokémon posters. It made his day even better. As a small business owner myself it made me feel good seeing the passion he has in his business as well! Thank you to these guys for making my son’s birthday...

The woman and the girl working knew absolutely NOTHING about what was being sold in there. Also I was inquiring about specific things and was met with very nonchalant bland lazy customer service. Basically would have walked around the store without having one word said to me if I didn’t speak. Out of all the stores that could have possibly been put in this area which is in need on a lot, this gets opened...
