Collected Treasures was referred to me as a neat place to find unusual items. They indeed do have some interesting items. I found some lamps and inquired about the price. Was told the price for each and the total for the two. When I checked out, the amount was more than I expected, believing the difference was the tax. Once I got home, I looked at the receipt and saw they charged more than the agreed upon price. When I called to ask about the discrepancy, Julie said that was the price and she would speak with Marie and get back to me. I was genuinely excited about finding this place however be careful about the price of the items you put on hold because they apparently change day to day. I had an item on hold because I needed a truck to pick it up. The price had a percent off and the next day they said the price is higher. I told them it was cheaper yesterday when I put it on hold. Then they said they would still honor the % off so the price would be even lower. Great, right? Nope! Today I'm told the price is back to the higher price.
