I have been waiting for my dishwasher to be repaired since 11/6/22 (67 days ago). I was assigned Sneed through my warranty company and they have been less than helpful.
They first came to the house on 11/23. I opened the door and said “hi, how are you?” and he walked inside saying “where is the dishwasher”, no hello or introducing himself. He ordered a part, which was delivered to me and then I had to call to schedule a second visit. On the second visit on 12/5, the tech said “I knew this wasn’t going to be the right part” - then why did you order it? At that point, he stated that the dishwasher needed to be replaced because they can’t fix the part that is needed. He said that he would let American Home Shield know and that they will follow up with me.
I never heard back from either Sneed or AHS for over three weeks, so on 12/30 I called AHS for an update on getting a new dishwasher - AHS says that they were never told that the appliance should be replaced, and that Sneed requested they order another part to fix the current appliance instead. They said that they had delivery records that Sneed had received the part on 12/29 and that they should be contacting me to set up service.
I called Sneed on 1/3 after not hearing from them, and they said they do not have the part. I called AHS back on 1/10 who confirmed the delivery of the part to Sneed. AHS then called them directly. Sneed was told by the warranty company that they had 24 hours to contact the AHS parts department, authorization department, AND myself. I should have been contacted by 2:27PM on 1/11. It is now 1/12/23, 38 days after the tech from Sneed recommended to me that the dishwasher be replaced (I have this conversation recorded, by the way).
Every phone call I’ve made to the company for an update request has been completely reasonable given the time this has taken, yet I have been given an attitude and quite frankly unprofessional behavior from all.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REPAIRS. If you are assigned to work with them through AHS, I would recommend requesting a new contractor...
Read moreI would not even give this company a one star rating that is even to good for them! Had them look at my washer and showed me the part that was bad and quoted me 350 to fix it we said no because the washer was old but with a little research online we found the part for 100 so we had it shipped overnight and put it in and it didn't work so I called them and Michael the owner said that was not the part that was bad! So I proceeded to tell him that was the part the tech showed me, so after some back and forth with him i realized he was not going to get what I said! So I just paid $85 for nothing! I think when I told them I was not going to buy their part the tech decided to tell me the wrong part after I paid him and asked what the name of the part was. So my advice to anyone needing repair to a appliance DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! I spoke with a very nice man at cashwell that referred me to a good place so call them for a referral. Lol I see that the owner responded to my complaint and still does not get it! So I have to ask the question why respond to mine and not to the other bad reviews you received... AGAIN I would not use these people! In response to you mike I called Samsung and they said the board that I replaced was the MAIN CONTROL BOARD! but I guess you will say that they...
Read moreRead moreI bought a dishwasher from a company that had an installation agreement with Sneed. Several months after installation, I noticed that my subfloors were creaking and hardwoods cupping. When I pulled out the dishwasher, I noticed that water line hook up had a constant drip. This rotted the floors underneath, and wicked across the subfloor ruining hardwoods in other place of the kitchen. I understand that mistakes happen (this one should have been avoidable if they checked the connection) but the response was unacceptable. I found out that Sneed had contracted the install to a Hinton trucking company. Sneed did assess the damage but after 2 month of badgering had done nothing. I was told that Hinton trucking was going to assess damage as well and took a full day of work off for a company that never showed up. I finally had to get my insurance involved in the situation. Due to their negligence and refusal to take accountability, I am stuck with paying for $5K of repairs. Hire at your own risk as you may find yourself in a...
