We used to order about 3 to 4 times per month from this establishment. Thought the food was just ok, nothing spectacular, but we were pretty loyal customers anyway because of the convenience. This is what happened that made us vow to NEVER EVER order from this place again. We placed an order, which was the same order we always placed, 3 pasta dishes, 3 salads, 3 breadsticks. When we received the order, there were only 2 pasta dishes, 2 salads, 2 breadsticks. One order was completely missing. We called in and they did bring the order that was missing. So, we all had to wait for that order, making the 2 orders that originally came cold when we finally all sat down to eat. About a year, and many orders later, the delivery person accidentally gave us the store receipt instead of the customer receipt. When my husband was entering it into our bankbook, this is what he saw printed across the top of the receipt. "MAKE SURE THAT YOU DOUBLE CHECK THE ORDER AND SEE THAT IT IS CORRECT, BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE CALL AND SAY THAT SOMETHING IS MISSING JUST TO GET FREE FOOD". First of all, we had never made a complaint of something missing on the dozens of other orders that we had made, secondly, this is apparently a business that not only thinks they cannot make a mistake, but also thinks that their customers are "out to cheat them". Thirdly, they should, at the time of the missing order, have sent 3 fresh orders so everyone could eat hot food, but we never asked for that. If we had been "out to cheat them" we certainly would have demanded 3 new orders. Fourthly, they kept that note on the computer for over a year until we discovered it and called and told the manager about what we thought of that kind of customer relations. When I called the manager, I have to say, that she was very apologetic and did offer to give us a comped meal, which we refused. I just cannot ever go back to that place after knowing that they had that insulting note in their computer system and everyone knew about it each time we called in, totally unbeknownst to us. I would much rather give my business to someone who truly appreciates their customer base, especially their repeat customer base. There are too many nice people out there to waste our time on a restaurant with this sort of attitude towards its customers. In my opinion, this is a 2-star restaurant. I have not taken any stars away for my opinion of their treatment of customers. The food tastes pretty much the same, no matter what you order. The breadsticks are very tough all the time, as if they have been microwaved for too long. The salad is just ok. They usually made a mistake on our salad dressing, and would give us Italian Lite instead of Creamy Italian. That was almost an across the board mistake that we knew was going to happen. When we got the correct dressing we were always very pleasantly surprised. We never complained until the time that they left out one of the orders and even then, we didn't really complain, we just called in and asked for what we had paid for. If you eat here, don't over expect. It isn't terrible, but it...
Read moreWell just ordered a large pizza with mushrooms and fresh garlic, med breadstick, BBQ Wings and 2 ltr Pepsi Fair price and good portion's. The Pizza was still warm and tasted pretty good but the crust was the only down fall as it was flat and tasteless. The Medium cheese bread sticks and marinara sauce was actually pretty good and tasty. It would be nice if the pizza had the same crust as the cheese bread did. It would be much better with a thicker crust. Then we get to the BBQ Wings. Well when I opened them I was shocked at the large portion and happy but when I took a bite of the wings it at first tasted real good but then the heat hit me hard. Talking about hot and spicy. I had to get some bread and butter fast to counteract the spice and heat. Last but not least the 2 ltr Pepsi but the driver forgot it and said it wasn't his responsibility to remember it, but he did the right thing and went to speedy and bought back the 2 ltr Pepsi. So I ate half of the pizza and half of the cheese bread and one chicken spicy hot wing. I had a couple sips of Pepsi. Then as I put the rest of the cheese bread with the pizza in one box my chest and stomach started to rumble, so I got up and went to the bathroom and proceeded to throw up everything that I had just ate. The food tasted good but since I ate the Hot Wing that was supposed to be BBQ it was rejected by my system. You see since my coma, my body has changed a lot. My Five senses are very active now. And the strongest are taste, smell and touch. I used to be able to eat hot stuff but now NY body rejects it. So when I ate the food and the wing that was spicy I threw up all the food. So Roma's Pizza totally screwed up and when I called they told me they were to busy to Care but said they would talk to the driver. So customers beware, Roma's Pizza Shop isn't NY Roma's where they...
Read moreThe is for the store in Clayton NC....I placed a pickup order via DoorDash and when the app indicated the food was ready for pickup, I sent my son there to get it. When I called to see what was taking so long, he indicated that he was told there was no order for me. So, I drove there as it is only 0.2 miles from my house and I indicated to the worker(bald guy) that I had placed an order via Door Dash and was there to pick it up. He told me the same thing as he had previously told my son. I showed him the Door Dash app where I had placed the order. The food, that had not been prepared as it was no order, was mysteriously sitting in an oven rack. The worker proceeds to tell me that I had not paid for the food despite me showing him the Door Dash receipt and my transaction via my bank app. He requested for the manager to come to the front and the manager, after being told by his worker was going on, also stated that the food had not been paid for. I showed him the same evidence I had shown his worker but, that wasn’t good enough. He requested that I call DoorDash and I did. The representative indicated to him that the food had indeed been paid for. However, instead of the manager accepting that, he began to argue with the rep stating that “paid” wasn’t on the receipt as if that was somehow my issue. He showed me two receipts to prove his case although one was a ticket that had been rung up in the store and the other (mine) didn’t but it had Door Dash written on it. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I mean why lie for one and two why go thru all of that when I showed all of the proof. I’m a nurse, I don’t have to steal anything from them. Furthermore, I could’ve gone to Food Lion and purchased a Digorno’s pizza. It would’ve been better as by the time I got the food home,...
