Inspire Nutrition — Restaurant in North Carolina

I ordered a mega tea for myself and a strawberry mango smoothie for my friend. The tea was delicious, but the smoothie wasn't great. It was pretty bland for a fruit smoothie. I told my friend to go back inside to see if they could make something else. He came back to the car with the same said smoothie and stated "they said no so I'm just going to toss it." Keep in mind, this was his first time/experience with Inspire Nutrition.

I went back inside and asked the lady to make a tea instead and she said that she'll have to charge me for it. So I then asked her if she could try making it sweet with hopes of repairing the smoothie. She did try, but it didn't taste right so I went ahead and PAID for a tea instead.

First and foremost, I totally get that it's a small local business and I will 100% go back again (maybe in a few months) after letting this review marinate. Secondly, I tried asking the lady if she could swap it out for a tea vs. trying to make the smoothie sweeter, and she turned me down. After paying, I asked if people actually ordered it and she said "not really" (this would have been nice to know beforehand!)...

In conclusion, do I recommend Inspire Nutrition of Clayton? Yes. Would it have been nice if the lady had offer to make something else to make up for a terrible smoothie? Yes. Was this a bad experience? The lady was nice, but this left a bad taste in my mouth (literally). However, for next time, if someone orders a smoothie, I hope that they tell the next customer upfront that this is not a popular item so if they do decide to move forward with a smoothie, at least the customer have been warned.

Please know that this isn't a complaint! I'm simply sharing my experience. Furthermore, Inspire Nutrition is GREAT and I still highly recommend it, but I'm dropping this review here with hopes that the next person who's craving a smoothie to please ask first before ordering. Just visited the Inspire Nutrition store in Clayton NC store in Flowers Plantation area yesterday. Ordered Key Lime Pie Protein Shake Meal replacement with 15 gm of protein. They use sugar free syrups & drinks are Low Calorie Low Carbs as well. Planning to try Coffee drink soon that also has 15gm of protein. I went in this store yesterday thinking it was a food products store. Pleasantly surprised & so happy there are Healthy protein drinks including teas, coffee, and the delicious protein shakes. Very kind staff yesterday to help me navigate my choice protein shake but Key Lime Pie that tastes just like the pie is a winner for me. Will be using this store...

Grrrr 👿😡🤬!!! I am so INFURIATED 🤬 right now!!! Firstly, I used my handy-dandy triple integral calculations 🧮, all in my head 🧠, since I am the GREAT 😊 👑 PythagorasPlayz, and found 🔍 that their advertised cup size was WAY off!! What a scam 😐😯. And trust me, my friend’s name is fat cups 🍒, I know what they look 👀 like!! Secondly, the WOMAN who took my order was so stuck-up and RUDE 😡, it reminded me of the time I was YELLED at by my MOMMY for not taking out the TRASH!! But, I should take this employee out, since she reminds me of my trash 🗑️!!! Not to mention how UGLY she was, both inside and out!! Safe to say, I will NEVER 👎 be returning!!...
