I ordered a large boneless butterflied leg of lamb. I was told it would be frozen. I should have asked how it could have been prepared properly by a real butcher, and frozen in a matter of hours… when I picked it up it was barely over 3 lbs and the label said nothing about being butterflied. I was in a pinch for time so I had no choice to pay the $19.99 a lb. When it thaws, though I am no butcher, I will do my best to properly butterfly & trim it. I would have been better off going to a grocery. At least they don’t claim to be a custom cut...

I love, love, love Farmstead market! Their selection of products, all high quality, and personable staff has made this my favorite neighborhood market. The steaks we served during dinner with friends resulted in them commenting that "they were the best steaks we have seriously ever had." Farmstead Market has been above and beyond accommodating (once during payment system issue and other with obtaining bones for my dogs). Can't recommend...
