Listen. be better. They have failed each time. I am not someone who leaves bad reviews but it’s been unacceptable at this point. First time we visited the hostess was so incredibly rude. We asked to sit on the roof (not realizing that it was 18 up only) and she VERY rudely told us “that’s not going to happen”. Like, ok? All you had to do was politely tell us the rule. We were not arguing, hell, we hardly got the question out. Second time was by far the worst. My coworkers and I decided to order Togo for dinner. We are all 911 operators and work 12 hour night shift so we like to have a nicer dinner together some nights. When we called in we were told to order online. No issue with us. When we went online it told us we could only order food for the next day. We called back and the lady on the phone sighed and huffed and puffed that she would make an exception this one time. We never asked her to. We just wanted her to know we could not order from the website. She then proceeded to take 15 minutes to collect our order on the phone( we ordered 4 appetizers). At one point she lays the phone down and I guess thinks we can’t hear her and literally ADMITS TO BEING RUDE TO US. SHE TOLD OTHER STAFF SHE WAS BEING RUDE ON PURPOSE AND WE WERE NOT TAKING THE HINT. Just so it’s clear. We were very aware. But at this point we had almost no food options left to us and we had to eat their food. The other option was to work 12 hours overnight with no dinner. We finally get the order placed after the lady was super pushy about us paying over the phone (again. We had no issue with this but she was very rude about it). When my coworker showed up to get the food they inform us one order was made incorrectly. They tell us they are fixing a fresh order right then. No worries. Not a big deal. Mistakes are made. The lady on the couch (pretty sure who took our order) keeps harassing my coworker making sure she knows “we got a good deal” because they are letting us keep the order that was made incorrectly…. First, we never asked to keep that order. Second, this was a mistake of your restaurant? Why would we be grateful. Both times the wait staff has been fine. The food is ok. Food is not good enough to make up for the service however. I was really excited to see a new restaurant come into this spot because I love the location. It’s a-shame that a few horrible employees keep us from enjoying it. Maybe at the least they should change the name because there is nothing friendly about this...

I struggled with my food grade. We stopped here early in the day. We had an appetizer and a drink. The appetizer, something like " chicken nachos," was very good. We had a Bahama Momma drink. The drink was exceptional. My compliments to the bartender.

We came back later for a light dinner. We both had a salad and another Bahama Momma. This is where things were not very good. We sat up on the roof area. The drink was not even close to being half as good as the one we had earlier. There was a definite lack of consistency and a HUGE drop off in the quality. Also, they served this one in a plastic cup with no cherry or orange slice like we had earlier. We were VERY disappointed. We expected a similar quality drink as we had earlier. We did not get that.

Now the salad. I had a Ceaser salad with grilled chicken. It was $15 plus $5 for grilled chicken. The salad was extremely small for $15. There was less than a dollar's worth of romaine lettuce, probably no more than an ounce or two. There was very little dressing. The grilled chicken amounted to four EXTREMELY small pieces of chicken. Honestly, one chicken McNugget from McDonald's has more chicken than what I paid $5 for. When you consider I paid $15 for about 75 cents worth of romaine, we felt ripped off. My wife's salad was also very small. Hers was similarly priced. So, we paid like $40 for what would have been small for even a side salad served with an entre. In fact, I have had side salads twice the size of my chicken Ceaser salad. I would be skeptical going here.

The service was good. That's about it. For two VERY small salads and two bad drinks, we paid over $50. Yes, this...

Was very hopeful for this place. First the good...excellent vibe, great views, very friendly staff. the not so good...food came out quickly and was hot, but the portions and quality just didn't match the price. Monte Cristo was made with what appeared to be regular white loaf bread. Hamburger was pretty good. A person in our party got the CAJUN CHICKEN PASTA. It was a complete disappointment. Not much flavor, checken should be blackened, sauce was very MEH. Nothing Cajun about it. Wings and fries were tasty, so at least you can count on the simple things. Servers and staff seem pretty young an inexperienced, so I can cut the kid some slack for not checking on us often enough. But had he had more experience, it would have been unacceptable. I still tipped him a 20.

Dinner and one beer and 2 rum and cokes for 2 people yielded an 87 dollar bill....WHICH HAD A NON CASH SURCHARGE THE SERVER NEVER MENTIONED! That, to me is completely unacceptable as I had cash on me, but wasn't told until I got my receipt. For that reason alone I will not be back. CHANGE THIS POLICY BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE WILL FEEL THIS WAY. Taking cards is part of doing business now days. It's a shame a place with so much potential is doing things like this. I hope they improve.
