I was recommended by some guy at Wal*Mart telling me to come to this shop and another when looking into the trading card isle so I gave it a shot a few months back. He said buying cards there were a rip off and I should go to local card/comic stores instead. As soon as I come in, I'm not greeted by anyone. Most of the store contains old and beat up boxed action figures. Some items don't contain a price affixed to them. Their website and social media advertises "affordable comics and collectibles", but the irony is just that. They sell scalped merchandise. I've seen several reviews around stating they purposely buy from other people and flip the items back on their shelves. Being well familiar with their products and MSRP pricing, as well as personally researching back at home, you can indeed find quite literally anything cheaper online which I was afraid another store would take advantage of. They even house a "sale" bin which also contain items that are still overpriced! What's marked as a $5 UltroPro single deck case "on sale" is worth on average $2.99 full price on the company's official website. That's almost twice face value, still considered a great deal slapped on with a sticker! The standard comics that aren't in the collectible range are ALL full price. Not a single sleeve is discounted, there isn't a rack of that anywhere like I've seen in every other reasonable comic shop. The cashier was nonchalant when asked questions and spoken with a borderline rude. I heard there weren't any leftovers from Free Comic Day either. The place was dusty with shouting guys in the back rooms when an event wasn't going on. They had a minimal and awful collection of cards and of course still overcharged. Even the person next to me about to check out rejected a sale bundle because it was a "rip off" as well at the counter. For preference, a doll marked $120 there sells for moderately $80 online, same condition and model. The store was empty and sad. The only pro I saw there was a TV playing late 90's/early 00's punk rock music videos featuring bands like Sum 41, Blink-182 and such. If you live nearby, it might be worth a few minutes of your time to take a stroll, otherwise shops like these are exactly why brick & mortar are becoming...
Read moreMy son I went there for our driver Licenses we made 2 appointments and we received one ticket. Toni, helped us and I must say it was the absolute BEST experience I have ever had at any DMV across the board. Not only did she help us together she assisted us getting out license plates transferred from GA to FL. That was not part of our appointment & what she could not help us with she transferred us to Deb. She was equally as wonderful as Toni! In addition, I had to leave and come back for the transfer to be complete. I literally waited in the waiting room for one minute ( where Miguel remember me from earlier and gave me a ticket immediately. :-D) Toni happen to see me and made a hand motion form me to go in the back to meet with Deb again. I have never in life felt so welcomed and I’ve lived in Wisconsin, Georgia and now back in Florida. This was the absolute nicest group of people who love what they do and it shows. I would recommend this particular location hands down to any and everyone who need their services. What a cheerful crew who enjoy working together and spreading their love to their customers!!! Great...
Read moreThis place is amazing... The owner Sylvester is a really cool guy.... They have a good amount of comics but they could have more but you know what you can order anything from them and they'll get it for you so if you get it right at that moment or later on it doesn't really matter because they'll get it for you.....
Atmosphere is quiet you can either quietly look at the products they have or pick up a conversation with anybody inside of there everybody's pretty nice and likable
I also saw some people in the back room I think they were playing some kind of game maybe magic or something like that they're having a blast
Do they give you weird looks they act a little awkward they answer questions awkwardly but not this place it's a very warm feel and you feel at home like you're just relaxing looking through...
