NY Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Clermont

The food is okay ribs and rice are good , wonton soup, egg role etc are not good. The reason iam writing this review is because they have really bad customer service. Went in order BBQ ribs with shrimp fried rice with two other orders for lunch so I can take home to my family. Their lunch service is very pricey, had to pay extra because the bbq ribs weren't on the lunch menu and unpaid extra for shrimp fried rice. I was starving didn't eat all day and it was past 1:00 so I got home and saw that they got my order wrong. They gave me chicken wings instead of the BBQ ribs(the other two orders were correct). So I called them so they can credit the difference in my cc since I didn't get what I wanted and was very disappointed. They said they will deliver me my BBQ order for free. I speciaficalky said multiple times I am not driving back because I didn't have time to and I didn't want to drive back and they said they will deliver it to me. So I said ok fine. In the mean time I tried to wait but was so hungry began to eat the shrimp fried rice and when the delivery guy came he asked me for the chicken wings order. So I told him the truth and told him I can not give it back because I began eating from it. So he said then I have to charge you for the chicken wings. So I said no fine keep the BBQ ribs because I am not paying a cent more. By this time I was upset and no longer eat anyway due to all this. I told him listen just have them credit my card like I originally asked for because I did not request for you to deliver this to me. And he needed to call them because he said that they are not able to do that etc. I offered to call the restaurant myself and then he said no here I will give you the difference I called them already. He went to his car and tried to get all the change he can gathere from his car. Anyway this is too long I will not bore you with the rest long story short, no ribs, did not get full refund and he left without giving me anything. I called the restaurant back and all I got was bad rude service with no compensation for my wait time and short changed on my refund. 😡 I will never order from a place that ask for food back especially when a customer brungbit home and had it with her for...

Before I start let me just say this. I have had a lot of Chinese restaurants before and I am not trying to compare to others but simply giving feedback to general community and whoever reads.

So I ordered generals tos chicken, fried rice and an egg roll. Portion wise it was great, but food taste and quality wise was kind of a different story. The chicken was covered in sauce and chewy, like it has been sitting out for awhile. There were also some pieces of chicken that were very hard to eat so I had to just trash it. As for the rice it was ok but very little flavor at all. Also not sure if normal at this restaurant but I got a random piece of broccoli in my food which I dont mind broccoli but, it did not taste good this one at least. The egg roll was soggy and that is all I'm going to to say about that.

Overall I can tolerate to eat it just was very disappointing. I am not gonna bother to ask for them to remake or give refund, but I do hope this helps other people out when choosing their food. And if the restaurant ends up seeing this review it is not to go against you it is simply to give feedback and hopes to improving.

Firstly, let me start off by saying I have been ordering from this restaurant for years. A few days ago, I was waiting on my order and a another customer was placing his, I stood right where you could see the kitchen. I always have a habit in watching how my food is made. The customer that came after me order was being made.The worker(she) took out some chicken on a stick from what seems to be the fridge, while she was maneuvering it , one fell. Quickly she looked around to see who saw it fell. We made eye contact, while the food was still being made I notice she kept making eye contact with me. I had a doubt. When I got my order I was curious to see if she would watch me leave and she did. Luckily, the door is reflective. Guess what I saw, Yep as soon I turned around she quickly picked up something from the floor(I assume)that fell and through it in the frying pan. What else could it be?
