Update: changing to three stars from two for now. Someone from the business contacted me right away upon seeing this review. After discussing it and seeing pictures they acknowledged there was a mistake with the construction of the bed and volunteered to remake the re-ship it to us. There's clearly some issues with customer service and things falling through the cracks at the moment, but I do appreciate them finally responding and agreeing to fix the issue. I will adjust the review to 4 stars from 3 once we actually receive the corrected bed. I hate to leave a negative review for any small business, but since Modern Cre8tive has not responded to our inquiries about the issues with our order, I don't feel I have any other recourse. We placed an order for the Bosco bed back in October. The (I believe) owner who I spoke to about the order was very pleasant to deal with. They agreed to make us a custom bed with a slightly shorter headboard to fit our space and even gave me a slight discount up front for the materials they would save. They estimated the bed to take 8-10 weeks. It took significantly longer than that and only just arrived last week. That alone is not a huge deal since I understand supply chain issues are weird, etc. However, when the bed arrived there was a problem with the construction. The installers had trouble assembling it, because either the sides were built upside down or the corner braces were. Originally they installed the sides with the slat braces, facing down, which was the only way possible, given the orientation of the steel corner braces. After discussing it, they decided to remove the steel corner braces, flip and reinstall them so that the slat mounts were facing up. In doing this, however, the slats are mounted far higher than intended (not recessed as described), and the bed sits at least 2” too high. We have a very tall mattress and the recessed feature was a big part of the reason we wanted this bed. As it is now, the mattress almost covers the headboard entirely, which defeats the purpose of the beautiful headboard, and the bed looks pretty silly. The bed frame IS beautiful - but however, we have left 3-4 phone messages, and sent 2 emails since our bed was delivered 10 days ago about the incorrect construction, and no response. It's a huge bummer and very disappointing after spending a good deal of money and waiting so long for the bed. I am sincerely hoping someone reaches out to us soon to figure out how to remedy...

This is the first negative review I've written and really debated doing this but am unsure what my other course of actions are. I ordered my bed frame from Moderncre8ve on Aug 23rd and was told my product would ship out the week of October 31. I reached out the week before Oct 31 to request an update and heard nothing, the week came and went and still no response. I emailed, called and eventually found a way to text Moderncre8ve to eventually get a response from Parrish who stated he thought he saw my bed and I should see it shortly. I then did not hear anything else until Nov 30th (a full month after) stating that due to some issues I would not see my bed ship out until Dec 26th. I understand that things are weird right now, and totally understand some delays, and accepted it. Well Dec 26th came and went again and no one contacted me about my bed. Again I called, I emailed, I texted until Jan 5th, when I was told again the bed was in the workshop and I should see it being shipped within the next week or 2. It is now Feb 1, a full 3months after I was told I'd get the bed frame, and still no information about where it is or when I can expect it. I have again emailed multiple times and left tons of voicemail to no avail. I've been sleeping on a mattress on the floor 5 months and just want my bed frame or at least some information about it, there isn't even a way to get my money back since I can't seem to contact anyone. I totally understand that there have been material shortages and other delays that are out of control of the vendor, but not responding to an email is an item I struggle to find sympathy for. Read moreI ordered a table with two leaves back in April - due to supply chain issues the fabrication was delayed. I received my table in October. The craftsmanship of the table is superior - it is a lovely piece. It is made from sustainably harvested wood and is fabricated domestically. It is a piece of art as well as a functional piece. Unfortunately I was only able to get one of the leaves matched to the rest of the table due to lumber issues. You can see in the photos that the last leaf doesn't match the rest of the table. The table alone or with only a single leaf is a fantastic piece. I am pleased to report that the company was receptive to making things right and did issue a refund for the leaf that doesn't match. For others considering ordering - you will be happy with the quality and craftsmanship and I believe the company will communicate with you should they have an issue with sourcing what they need to complete your piece. As an aside - if you are not well versed in wood - be careful because their website also has pictures of pieces made of different wood than what you order (ie Santa Monica table in maple actually shows a table...
