Tripi — Restaurant in Cleveland

I have been in to this little shop several times over the last year. I rarely log into Google to write a review, but this place deserves one.

Every time I visit, it is clear the people working (presumably the owner/s) take pride in the food they are serving. The bread is baked in house and is phenomenal, especially the focaccia. The Tuscan Turkey and the Chicken Cutlet w/ Prosciutto sandwiches set this place apart - both of these sandwiches are proof that just a few ingredients of high quality, assembled on great bread is all that is needed for a great sandwich. Today, I also tried the Italian wedding soup and my girlfriend and I were both very impressed.

Tripi Italian Market is an absolute gem in Cleveland! I can't recommend this place enough. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, and it really shows in the quality of their products. Their wine selection is fantastic, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into it. What's even better is that you can find some truly great bottles for amazing prices. Incredible food. These sandwiches are amazing, and you really just need to try them. Honestly, it's hard to find a better sandwich in Cleveland. Very friendly service. The counter service line is designed better for carry out, and is just a touch awkward if you are dining in. The dining area would be great for small groups for business or anything else because there are some wide open seating options. But that wide open environment also means there aren't any great options for, say, a date or reading a book over your lunch break or whatever. Nothing stopping it! Just nothing that lends itself to...
