Today I bought a 6 inch meatball sub that completely fell apart after I took it out of the wrapper because the bread wasn’t all the way done, or something else unknown was wrong. I would have to put the sandwich on a plate and eat it with a fork and knife, because it completely fell apart. I went back and the owner wouldn’t replace the sandwich, and had the nerve to act angry as if I had done something wrong. He acted annoyed and angry, as if I were bothering him, instead of addressing my issue as a paying customer. He claimed that "all meatball subs do that". I have been eating meatball subs since the 90’s and the sandwich falling apart has NEVER HAPPENED. I will never set foot in this location again!!! Horrible customer service and management. If you want a decent sandwich and service, I recommend the Subway on Chagrin in the plaza where Heinen's is located, which is not very far from there. They know how to treat their customers. Also, the lobby is very stale and uninviting. If you needed to dine in because you're waiting for the train (RTA Rapid), you'd elect to wait and eat on the train. In addition, I needed to use the restroom. Instead of giving me a key to the woman's restroom, the key was dangling from the door, so he wouldn't need to walk over there to open it. But that's not the worst part. He made it so that I couldn't remove the key from the door, meaning that anyone could come in there while I was using the restroom. An owner who cares more about losing money from a 6 inch sandwich than he does about customer service and customer safety should not own any business where direct contact with customers is involved, nor any business at all as far as I'm concerned. DO NOT go there. They need to take their business elsewhere. They don't deserve a single penny of money from people they clearly do...
Read moreThe workers were both very rude while taking my order. I do not know the names of the workers but they were both of Indian as an identifier incase Subway sees this feedback. I asked about if they were still doing the meal deal and the lady pointed to the poster. It was around 6pm so I wasn't sure if it was only for lunch since I usually do not go into Subway. The bathroom was "broken" and my brother was not able to use the restroom with no accommodations or offers to assist. I was waiting around for my order to be made and she mentioned that she was ready; I started giving the specifics of my order. After selecting and toasting my bread- she asked me for the toppings, with each time adding "and" after naming the vegetables to add. It was time for payment at which I inserted the debt card chip. She then rudely said, " hold on" when it was not necessary. After bringing out my sandwich, my brother (who was special needs) made noises as the cashier lady rudely glared at him. We went over to fill our drink where I quickly asked for a plastic bag to hold everything and the male rudely said, " NO PLASTIC BAGS!" Between the aggressive behavior, non-operational bathroom, glares, and dismissive attitudes, it created an "unfriendly atmosphere" that is not family friendly, especially with families that have special needs family members. So many bad interactions with just ordering a 1/2 sandwich. I will not be back and recommend going to another subway nearby with better customer service. It's a shame after seeing a great movie [ Fantastic 4 at Atlas Cinemas] that it had to ended with terrible...
