I'd love to give this 5 stars across the board because I love a coffee shop. But I have a few suggestions. I'd love to have heavy cream available as an option for us keto people. Also the insulated creamer pitcher was unmarked and I had to ask if it was half and half. A simple label would have taken care of my questions. Again, totally not a big deal for most people but if you have any dietary concerns it's important. I really don't like Starbucks but they have a couple no carb options and offer heavy cream. Tables needed wiped and it wasn't busy. I moved to another table that looked clean but the chair I pulled out had crumbs. I sat here for at least 20 minutes and no cleaning took place at any table. I'm old enough to feel slight annoyance when I see people on their phones and there is work that could be done. Lol. I heard someone ask for a large print menu because their eyes were bad and they couldn't read the board. They were told that the only menu was up there. I offered to read it for him but the barista could have offered that if there were no accommodations available. I probably sound like a Karen but these things are noticable and first impressions count. I really hope this business is successful!...
Read moreI've never been to a Cafe Indigo before, but I was gifted a coupon at a festival and discounted ice isn't something you should pass on. When I arrived, I was greeted by someone with such a positively lovely spirit! She was so helpful to me deciding what I wanted and her recommendation was spot on! I've told everyone about this experience and how amazingly cute this cafe is. I can't believe I've passed it so many times not going in. The ice cream was so fresh tasting and they have THE BEST MARASCHINO CHERRIES EVER! I can't wait to go again and try more things on the menu. This place is the vibe all year long; it's cozy-vintage meets art deco modern with the cool artwork, vibrant colors, vintage exterior (I love the doors!) and...
Read moreMy daughter-in-law and I were out and about exploring Shaker Heights and made plans to stop by Cafe Indigo. It did not disappoint! We ordered Macha, a Mocha and split a sandwich and the freshness and flavor was wonderful. We spent way more time than we originally planned, visiting and interacting with locals and staff. We learned a lot more about the area, the schools and the nearby neighborhoods as we're considering a move to the general area. I absolutely loved it here and will definitely return soon. A big thank you to everyone we met here, the delicious food and the great conversations! Your insights...
