Delicious food, service was a tad slow, but we did visit on a sunday so nothing wrong with the laid back vibe, it gave myself and my friends time to talk, music was great, our server was polite and attentive as she could be- located in the same building as the breakfast club. Everything was delicious from appetizers to dessert. Heads up try to get there when they open they sell out of things quickly ( which is a good thing, means there is a lot of business and food is freshly made in small quantities) We ordered for apps okra fries, fried green tomatoes, chorizo hush puppies Entrees Hot Chik'n sandwiches and a po boy Dessert was strawberry chocolate cake ( this was a aquired taste to the friends that chose this one) Vegan cheesecake delish Apple Tart NO COMPLAINTS delicious for suree, not too sweet just enough! We had a table of 6. Be prepared for the high quality food and ingredients and the specialty of a vegan eatery you will spend out 60-70 bucks per two ppl especially if you get apps, entrees and desserts. It was worth it to have a menu i didnt have to change or think about or ask if its vegan or (whats in that) to try and change it like i would have to at a different restaurant. So overall delish and...

Delivery order (with doordash) Fried Oyster Wings: it comes with pickles but only gave 3 little pickles. Comes with Carolina style mustard bbq sauce, which was decent, I added some agave to sweeten the sauce and it's actually good now. The actual sauce cup was half full though, wasn't enough for all the wings. The Wings don't have much flavor on their on had to salt them, didn't help much, and it's hard to bite it all the way threw. Guess thats because of the type of mushroom? Maybe undercooked? Not sure, but it was alot of them in the box.

Vegan “Crab” Burger: Same issue no flavor, had to add my own sauce. Fries were good though.

Feels low effort, the resturant seems like it cant land on either being healthy or being more about flavor. Seems like they are bottom line orientated not filling the whole sauce cup. (put 6 silverware packets in my delivery bag when 2-3 would have been fine, they just throwing random amount in.) Because this is suppose to be an upscale restaurant I expect an unique flavor, not bland.

The other vegan places in area are cheaper and taste better. Very disappointing, was excited about having a new vegan...

I rarely leave reviews but everyone needs to hear about this place so here I go.

If you're a meat eater don't be turned off by the word "vegan" which seems to make people think mostly of Beyond Burger and tofu these days. This restaurant has delicious, familiar foods (Alfredo and chocolate cake anyone?) that happen to be plant based so no processed "meat alternatives."

If you're already vegan you should check it out bc there are a lot of dishes on the menu. There are appetizers, soups, entrees, desserts and beverages. There are also both healthy options like salads and hummus and more hearty options like fried "chicken" (it's mushrooms) and pasta. Everything we tried has been delicious.

We have only ordered carry out so I can't speak to the dine in service. However our food is always piping hot and well packaged. Customer service is quick and friendly and they even offer curbside. The portions seem quite large and we often have leftovers.

TL;DR? Wide selection of flavorful, satisfying, high quality food that just happens to be made from plants. Plus, it's a local business that sources their ingredients locally.

Just check it...

My husband and I decided to check out this vegan spot in Shaker Heights. I will start with THE PROS: My chix & waffles with a side of polenta was amazing. Very flavorful. The oxyster mushroooms (chix) had a crunchy batter like chicken. The waffle was melt-in-my-mouth good. The polenta was very creamy. We also enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere for good conversation. The CONS: Our waitress was not attentive and a bit lazy. Her attitude reflected impatience and like she didn’t want to be at work. She brought us menus and water BUT took forever to come back and take our orders. She kept passing by our table but NEVER said when she would be back. She brought me a to-go box that was 3 sizes too small. We had WATER with our meal. Not many choices for anything else to drink. They had a hisbicous tea that cost around $7. It would be nice to offer a reasonably priced lemonade or ice tea. Overall, I would try this place again. Hopefully, we have BETTER waitstaff next time.
