The $200 flower arrangement was lovely—no complaints on the beauty. But for the size and selection? Let’s just say I expected more than two peonies and a mix of standard, generic flowers you see in most arrangements. I've ordered from other florists in the area and received equally beautiful bouquets for far less.
When I called to express my concern, the shop explained the flowers were imported (Holland peonies, no less!). But with only two peonies in the whole arrangement, I’m not sure that justifies the premium price. The conversation felt more like a list of justifications than a resolution—and I suspect the owner may do the same in response to this review.
The initial response from the shop was to bring the flowers back for a refund. It was my very first Mother’s Day, and my husband had surprised me with the bouquet—so I was supposed to pack them up and drive them back to the store? Really?
They eventually offered 25% off, which I appreciated, but even with the discount, it still didn’t feel like a good value. Also worth mentioning: they charged my husband $22… for two single carnations. I can only assume those were imported from the moon.

By Tuesday, most of the flowers were wilted!!! I have received flowers in the past that have lasted weeks at a time. This was sooo disappointing. On Monday afternoon I was alerted that I was charged $106 from the flower shop again and I immediately called. The lady said it was because my original charge was declined which was 1000% false, she asked for me to send her a screenshot from my cc portal that it went through and then she would call the cc company to verify. We hung up and before a minute goes by she said she had already spoken to the cc company and that they verified my charge did in fact go through. Thats disappointing because it was a poor excuse. Had that been the case my card would have been charged the exact dollar amount not a cheaper price. They definitely saved my card information somewhere and charged someone else’s order under my name. Read moreI ordered a get well bouquet from Esmé Flowers for a friend/co-worker of mine that had undergone back surgery. The flowers were amazing! I ordered Colorful Day and requested additional purple flowers since purple was her favorite. The woman taking my order explained what flowers were in the arrangement and what she would add. She explained the process I would receive a receipt via email, a notification when delivery took place and it all happened as she said it would. Great customer service. As far as the flowers OMG! My friend loved them and as much pain as she was in she shared a photo of them and they were magnificent! Thank you Esmé Flowers.
