This was my first time trying Turkish food and Beyoglu made sure I enjoyed it. The place was very clean and the dimmed lighting made it very cozy and inviting. There’s a stairlift conveniently installed at the front for those who need it. The decoration is very distinct, it kinds of transports you to Turkish🙌. We booked a large table for 12. The service was excellent, the food was delicious. We took advantage of the BYOB and brought mostly wine. The server opened our bottles and provided glasses. In terms of food, you can’t go wrong with the chicken kebabs (with or without yogurt) and as appetizer the Turkish cheese and herbs cigars (fried roll). The hummus was very tasteful as well as the eggplant dip (baba ganoush 🍆 ). My favorite part of the night was when Turkish coffee and Kunefe (Turkish custard) was serve for dessert! It was soo good I couldn't stop eating it 😆 ❤️ Overall, this place is great for Turkish cuisine lovers😍 and for those interested in trying for the first time🙋🏻‍♀️( you wont regret it😋).

Quality good Service good Price fair Decor casual to medium fancy A more formal looking Mediterranean restaurant. Yet still friendly home town service. Not many people when we went so service was great. They had constant take out orders while we were there so the lack of attendence wasn't a function of food quality. We started with avocado salad and the fried zucchini pancakes. The salad was well salad. The pan cakes I'd go back for seconds. Our entries were shrimp on a vodka sauce with cheese and the beef plater. Both were good. We did a take out for our daughter of the beef as well. A couple of things in the menu ran out so we'll have to return to try them.

This is a nice cozy restaurant, the interior is really pretty. The food is good too. We ordered lentil soup, Lebni, spicy vegetables, and a beef shish platter. The appetizers were so good, the soup was good too. They bring homemade warm bread with two different kinds of sauce which are super delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was beef shish(it was so hard to chew I couldn’t even eat one piece. They need to change it) but fortunately our server was super sweet, she helped us through it when I complained about it and bring a dessert (baklava probably homemade was really nice)even though we didn’t ask for it. Overall it was a nice dinner.

While the atmosphere was high energy and nice the food was okay and the service was mostly terrible (a male waiter) but offset by a much friendlier female waitress. My son & I were tempted to order the turkish pizza but then we were quickly told that's the only thing they don't have since they were having issues with the oven. Just for curiosity I then asked if it was tomato based and he said it was so then I said, ok no biggie since I'm allergic to tomato and couldn't have it anyway. First the waiter starts off nice w/a simple pellegrino and then takes the appetizer order, salad and entree order without writing anything down. We thought impressive...

Minutes later the Appetizer arrives and the freshly baked bread there is excellent. Soon after the salad arrives and it's totally covered with tomatoes. I then ask why there was no tomato listed in the salad description. He apologizes and takes it back & replaces it with a caesar salad. A few minutes later he returns asking to be reminded what entree we ordered. My son decides to remind him for us, the lamb over yogurt. Many minutes later the order arrives only to discover again that it is totally covered in tomatoes (and again that was not in the description). When I asked why he didn't tell us that this was tomato based he said your son ordered it. Another waitress nearby could tell that we were upset and stepped in immediately to correct everything which made it better.

Finally the lamb shows up w/o the tomato and it was just okay. Later, much later, when the check arrives we discover the returned dish was still on the bill. When I ask the male waiter why that's still on the bill he asked if i wanted it as a take out and I said of course not... If I hadn't checked this waiter actually tried to sneak that right past me. He then had the nerve to argue with me about how I shouldn't have let my son order it which then prompted my son to get distraught for getting blamed. This is the worst customer service I have ever ever experienced in any restaurant. We came in with a good mood and left distraught and annoyed. The menu descriptions are not complete and this male waiter was rude and barely paying attention to his customer. My son & I will never ever go back to this restaurant. If you go don't expect any exceptions to be...

This is for the New Beyoglu Bistro & Cafe located on the Old River Road

There is no reason to give this place a try. I would recommend everyone to continue going to their usual Turkish Restaurant, there are many in the area. This place has nothing to offer besides outside seating during the warm weather.

My friend wanted to try this “New” Turkish restaurant and off we went. As we walked up the stairs we immediately loved the atmosphere, the outside deck with the waterfalls…

We had our worse falafel here, it was flat and dry. Bean salad didn't have enough seasoning, it was bland. Eggplant with sauce also bland certainly not restaurant quality. Fried calamari was OK. Manti and Hunkar Begendi were nothing to order again. So far every dish we had tasted bland and had no flavor . I tasted my main course but didn’t eat it, I didn’t ask for a doggy-bag and waitress never asked a question. I gave this place a second chance and went back again, it was same bad service, bland food.

Service is actually TERRIBLE, servers are inexperienced, they sit you down without setting up the table, and even though I pointed out before ordering my food that my silverware was missing I didn’t get it until after we received the cold appetizer WITHOUT the bread. My main course arrived , Hunkar Begendi, while we were still having our salad and appetizers (I eat fast but not that fast) first time in my life I actually asked the waitress to keep my dish in the kitchen. Little later, while we are still having our appetizers, waitress came back with both of our main course and she couldn’t find a place to set the dishes since table wasn’t cleaned, we were still eating.

Our second visit wasn’t much different accept this time we had the chance to share our thoughts about the place with the owner only to realized that owner himself is arrogant and he is not interested in his customers’ experiences, or willing to hear suggestions. He just complaint to us how difficult it is to start a new restaurant and so on.

I am willing to help out during the trials but I am not willing...

This place was a 5 star for me but I'm going to have to give this a 3 star now. I order from this place quite often and have someone pick up for my office but today, they messed up a lot of the orders. And upon calling them, the guy who answered my call was very ignorant about my complaints. I understand that they don't deliver but my pickup person said that they are promoting uber eats; but I was told they don't have uber eats? Secondly, I told them that because it was their fault, they should deliver to my office but he kept saying he was going to put it as credit for the next time I order. No, I wanted my orders so my doctor/boss could eat lunch before seeing patients. I was also told that the prices are COMPLETELY different in house than on the menus online. This place always had charged me the flat $10 for the lunch special but I checked the receipt and it was $11 per order. this place is giving false advertisement and not adhering to the consumer's problems. This is upsetting because I really like their food and the bread is terrific. But this is not how you run a business: being ignorant to the customer and giving totally false advertisement. Get better, Beyoglu, and I'll reconsider for...
