Okay so I was hesitant to write this review but decided to because of how my boyfriend felt trying to get a haircut today at 12:30. my boyfriend made an appt at 12:30 today with Carla and he arrived a few minutes early about 4 minutes early (while I waited outside) and he didn't mind waiting. He arrived and the lady was not welcoming at all and just told his to sit down while she was on the clients sofa chilling, mind you this is the first time visiting. He sits down and she decided to take a call in the back for a couple minutes mind you it was already time for his appt. The vibe was off because she didn't seem polite or even interested in giving him a haircut. Anyways he decides to leave because he didn't feel comfortable telling her that he decided not to get the haircut, she was not even bothered and said "okay". ZERO customer service. The crazy part is that she was outside talking to the owner or manager and the convo was about him asking him "are you busy today?'' and her response was " no it has been super slow lately" while my boyfriend was literally next to them outside. she didn't even acknowledged him as a customer. I decided to write this review because I encouraged him to give this place a try since we were in the area eating at brownstone pancake factory few minutes before and since his barber was not available this week. I’ve been going to this barbershop for a little over 2 years now and I have to say that I’m always satisfied with their service, the place itself is always clean ( spotless ) and their staff is very friendly to the point that I’d be comfortable enough to get a haircut with any of the staff. My go to guy is Juan who’s very dedicated to make you look at your best. The place always have good music and great atmosphere among everyone visiting or getting a service done, you also have an atm inside in the event that you need to withdraw cash, the hours in my opinion are good enough and they’re only closed on Sundays. If the owner ( Victor ) is there he’s always looking forward for nice chit chat about cryptocurrency or any new topic you can throw at him, is not your regular barbershop is a man’s cave to get a haircut, get shaved and hang out with the guys with the benefits of looking/feeling great afterwards.
