Mashed Burgers — Restaurant in Cliffside Park

This is an ABSOLUTE must try restaurant, and I’ll visit for a dine-in one day. Will definitely order again through my food apps for delivery!!

Suggestion for the restaurant: maybe include opt on the food apps for spice levels, with spice preferences from mild to extra spice. Because the food was definitely on the spicier side for my husband and I. We are glad we had ordered extra Raita yogurt to counter the spices. Other food is exceptional.

Finally got a chance to visit this burger joint for a meal after seeing a fellow Yelper’s review. Plus, I always fancy an Impossible veggie burger whenever that is an option.

Burger buns are toasted nicely inside while the outter bun remains soft and chewy! Definitely a genius method for a crunch factor with every bite of my burger. Burgers a saucy and flavorful. If possible, it would be a top notch burger if there was an option to add lettuce and freshly sliced tomatoes.

We got an order of onion rings and Cajun fries too!! Huge portions and pipping hot- so be careful when serving children since they are deep fried with oil.

I’ve read some reviews before deciding on a shake, and the fruity tutti one was the perfect choice!!!! Nice cereal crunch with every bite and the best part is they use premium Häagen-Dazs ice cream as the base.

Delicious fries, burgers, and shakes!! Restaurant is clean and well lite with natural sunlight. Restaurant could use some music, or entertainment on the TV monitors. Plenty of street parking. Metered parking is FREE on Sundays.

I’m not from the Area and nor was a searching for food at the moment, I was actually trying the the local hardware store a few doors down to buy paint but he was closed and out doing a job. So as I’m going back into my car and sit down I look up and the name and awesome Logo caught my attention “mashed Burgers” Being that it lunch time I was like it wouldn’t hurt to eat before heading to Lowe’s or Home Depot miles away…. Welll long story short. I Walked in and order a burger and fries. It’s a great saying you can’t knock it unless you try it.” And first off outstanding customer service plus their simple but great menu. Those who have information overload while looking at extremely cluttered menus knows what I’m talking about. The food came out in about 10 minutes I’m guessing the smell of onions smelt awesome and boy boy boy boy BOY. First and foremost I prayed over my food and then tried a fry, although it was fresh out I was like let me start with the burger and I finished that in 2.5 seconds outstanding (Finger licking good) Then the fires cooled down a little bit and I went to town on them. It was so good I didn’t go to Home Depot or Lowe’s I stop at a Sherwin Williams just up the street. Saved money on paint and time then I drove back to the restaurant and personally thanked Carlos the cook and said don’t change a thing and promised him I’m return one day soon with my wife who also loves some good food especially crunchy fries. The burgers are fire. I always get the spicy veggie mash. Except for the honey. Don’t not order the hot honey in a burger, idk who thought of that but it’s awful with a burger.

Anyways, the burgers are always on point. Although when this one taller young white arabic or Turkish dude with a lot of hair makes it, he always gets my order wrong (the one tan short spanish guy always get my orders right and double checks for me as well, the younger or shorter Arabic brother (I think) always take my order perfect on the receipt but the taller brother doesn’t do a good job. That same taller guy messed up my order at the crepe spot next door when I ordered a dessert there.) I have no choice but to eat it because I always order last meal of the day since I get off work late which is why I rated the service a 2.

The place always smells of old old used grease. The whole restaurant completely smells terrible. Even my friends was like why do I smell like that. That’s why I rated atmosphere 1.

The food… the sides are so awful. Probably the worst fries and onion rings I have ever tasted in my life. I’m pretty sure it due to the old grease. Idk but I rate them -10 out of 10.
