Blackbird Pub & Restaurant — Restaurant in Cliffside Park

I am not really big on writing reviews (since the reader can never be sure if they are “real”), but I have to make an exception with the Blackbird Pub and restaurant, in Cliffside Park New Jersey. The moment you walk in the door, you are greeted and made to feel welcome, as if you are an old friend, not a “walk-in”. That high level of attention continues throughout the visit. You literally never have to ask for a beverage re-fill, the staff cheerfully graciously stays one step ahead of you all the time. Regarding the food, The Blackbird offers a nice variety of appetizers, sandwiches, and they like. While I have not tried everything on the menu, I can definitely say that the various hamburger options are all superb, as are the wings, with five varieties of sauces, (hot honey, garlic, barbecue, buffalo, garlic, parmesan, and sweet chili Thai). Prices are reasonable; the crowd is always genial and mellow, and the owner and staff are warm, friendly, and frankly an interesting group of characters with entertaining stories to tell. My family and I have been frequenting Blackbird ♥️🐦‍⬛♥️ Pub, since it opened about 5 years ago. I have had many birthday parties for my family members there over the years, and now they only want to celebrate their birthdays at Blackbird. The owner and his wife, set the stage for an outstanding time without exception. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great, and the Vibe is always just right! The fact that this establishment is a family run business just adds to the specialness of it all! Recent moved to this area out of necessity, and found this absolute gem of a pub. The owners are the absolute greatest to say the least, bartenders are also charismatic and will make you feel like you belong as soon as they meet you. the regulars are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. I can honestly say I’ve never felt more at home being somewhere I don’t even know the street names. The food is great bar eats in an open back kitchen. Great music always playing.
