First of all, if you want a bridal hairdo done, please go elsewhere. I was beyond disappointed in the hairstyle I had to end up going with. Originally I had wanted to do Hollywood curls which I understand is time consuming and a lot of places will charge a lot for it, nonetheless, if it was achievable, I would’ve paid whatever it cost. However, I was told that she needed specific rollers for this look. In the moment, I believed her and immediately regretted not having gone to someone who specializes in bridal hair. I was two hours away from the wedding ceremony I was attending. So I agreed to just do curls, that I realized I could’ve done myself in the end. I was really irritated at that point but since I’d booked the appointment, I figured I should just go with the basic curls. After the event, I decide to YouTube the Hollywood hair curls tutorials just to see if in fact there are rollers needed. Much to my surprise, there were various techniques using a flat iron and then a regular 1.5-1.75 curling iron. Very disappointed. I went in with the hope of getting a light wavy perm on my healthy, natural shoulder length hair. Communication regarding what I wanted was minimal. Two hours later I left the salon looking like a wet chicken. It’s been a few weeks now and my hair is breaking and falling out in clumps. I have to wear it up at all times because I look ridiculous!
