Where to start: I haven’t been coming to The Peach Bar very long- well not as long as most people! But it’s been about 2 years! And wow to see the GROWTH!!! Astonishing! It took about a year before I finally had the courage to go in and get waxed but I finally did it and it was life changing. Once you wax, you never go back. I started with The Peach Bar Bo$$ herself, Queen Erica. I was very nervous the first time but she really made it a point to explain everything the first time and to get to know me so I wouldn’t just be thinking about the pain. Which I appreciated very much especially since I can talk for days. As you will see soon because I’ll be writing a NOVEL. Anywho. That was first appointment and I couldn’t stay away. I’ve recently switched because my girl Erica is doing bo$$ things and is going to Florida (couldn’t be happier for her but will miss her very much) but I know I’m in great hands now with Jackie! I know in all honesty that I’d be in great hands with any of the waxers there because I have recommended this place to legit all my friends and they all have their preferences and I do prep them before they go to make sure they aren’t scared and to check up on them and see how things went and I haven’t heard any bad things which isn’t a shock. They are now regulars as well. I obviously wouldn’t recommend a place I didn’t like to my friends.
I guess you can say I have been converted or baptized into to a Peachy groupie ahah! I keep up with them like it’s the Kardashians. It genuinely feels like I’m going “home” every appointment because of how welcoming the environment is. Upon walking in you immediately know it’s clean. It JUST smells clean. I know when I’m in there I won’t be getting a shotty job done. People may compare their prices to European wax center and see that it’s a big difference (like it’s actually AFFORDABLE) and that may lead them to think “you get what you pay for.” But I assure you it’s nothing like that. I feel more confident leaving there than anywhere else. Empower women empower women and you can tell that those girls care. They tell you how it is, they are honest, I have never felt “haggled” in ANYWAY AT ALL to get a treatment done I didn’t need. They have recommended stuff I have needed and have listened to my concerns and have given me quality feedback on changes I can make. I noticed that with time and going in regularly that I don’t grow hair as much as I did before. Could just be me but I doubt that. It definitely has benefited me tremendously. You come here to have a good time in all honesty. You are in great hands with anyone. Did I mention they added a flower wall- more importantly a CANDY BAR?! C’mon now.
Lolllll @ the one star reviews. It is a BUSINESS with policies in place, I think we need to remember that it’s not a big company like European Wax Center. These are the livelihoods of the waxers, management, and everyone else. Policies are sent out and you sign a contract before you even get waxed! If you don’t agree with the policies before… don’t sign the agreement and get waxed. I have been to doctors appointments where they will charge you the full amount + cancellation fee + not have you rebook after being a minute late! I believe their policies are fair. They are off a highway and like they tell you before confirming that accidents happen and that there are delays so just prepare for that when you are figuring a time to leave for your appointment. I’m not gonna lie, I run on “Keila time” if it’s not work related. I run a few minutes late to nail appointments but running late to a Peach Bar appointment? NOT HAPPENING wouldn’t miss it for the world!! (Unless emergencies arise they haven’t yet because I would highly debate on wether or not it’s actually an emergency… because I’d be missing my appointment.    Read moreI Have been going here consistently for going on two years.. Before they were even a well known establishment . DONT GET ME WRONG THEY ARE GREAT WAXERS. but they dont not genuwinly care for their customers . They only care about their money .Therefore i will no longer be getting services from here and do not recommend this place no longer. I would rather go somewhere that is more understanding cooperative , and not insensitive. They were extremely unprofessional. Their cancellation policies are very different on each confirmation platform and contradict one another. I will also like to state that my cancellation was orignally conducted on their behlaf due to the weather which they chose to do and were not forced to do by the state. Although the weather cleared up in the afternoon I was very understanding on the situation being that it was something out of their control. But based on my cancellation because of the weather and my reschedule ... something outside of my hands and controll apperared due to irregualrity. I then gave a call in to explain my cicumstance and see what i could do that is when the problems became apparent. They stated that they would have to charge me full price because i literally had caught my irregular period 30 mins before my new appotiment. I stated that this is unfair becaus ethis would have never been an issue if my orignal schdueled date was not cancelled the day before. The recepctionist went on and said that they will cut it to only a 50 % fee but on the website it did say that if you cancel under 24 hours the fee you will be charged is 50% of the total amount. This goes t show that that was the orignal policy so they were not helping me out but tried to ake it seem like that. They then brought up the policy in the message they sent to my phone number and it started 100 % which contradicted its orignal cancellation policy that you recieve origanlly that is written in the buisness form. Their reasoning for charging me is because i could wear a tampon. I had gotten my monthly and do not wear tampons .. not only in my case. but lets say someone was allergic to tampons you cannot imply these same rules on everyones situation. My monthlys are irregular so i do not know when they come they just come no set day. My biggest anger is that they didnt care how i felt or anything they only cared about charging me and then reshcudling me again to pay the full amount all over again. SO because I choose not to wear tampons they have to charge me because i could still get the wax if i had a tampon in. This is indirectly forcing me to wear a tampon or i will get charged for a service. This is something that occured out of my control plus on top of that if my orignal wax appt never got cancelled this would have never been a situation or predicatament. They then went on the be unprofessional and bring up my one record from may 2019 of a no show ... which I do not remember. I have never been late to an appotment , always tipped well and provided great service back to them. They were so hungry for the 17 dollars that they wouldnt even try to understand or console me . they only kept brining up the fact that someone else could of had that spot and they could have recieved the 35 dollars . I am not worth only a dollar amount to anyone and no customer should be treated as such. we are excelling your business if it wasnt for your customers there would be no buisiness. this somehing unbelieveable.    Read moreI just want to say that Jeanette is amazing and I absolutely love her because she makes me feel comfortable at my appointments with her, very social and super nice. She overall is amazing and 10/10. However, with the peach bar itself I’ve actually felt quite annoyed with them in the way they operate. I want to start off by saying that the cancellation policy should have more flexibility to it because this is the 2-3 third month in a row that they cancel my appointment because the waxer either quit, called out or whatever (this is outside of Jeanette because those times I booked with a different waxer because of her being booked so I would go with someone else). They give me the option to rebook with someone else but it’s very frustrating when it’s close to my appointment date and I pretty much have to either accept the cancellation or book with another waxer which is a complete BALL TOSS because you can get the next waxer available (who is either new or has not been there very long). For example, my recent wax appointment was cancelled and they called to cancel or rebook with someone else so at the time I didn’t rebook because I didn’t know my schedule. So I rebooked with another waxer when I went on the website and when I went to the appointment she burned me with the wax. Despite me letting her know the wax was HOT and she did my underarms first and despite me still letting her know after each strip she didn’t even try to cool it down and you can only imagine how painful it is for the wax to hit the most sensitive areas of the Brazilian and my wax after had my area red, bumpy, and extremely sensitive and these are things that DO NOT happen with Jeanette. I was just overall annoyed about that. It’s also the fact that they can call and cancel since the waxer for that appointment is not in today but god forbid I cancel because I am sick which has happened a couple months ago since I had COVID and was not about to pass that along to someone else and I spoke to the receptionist who made me jump through hoops to talk to the owner in order for me to have the money they charged me full service for despite me calling prior and advising I had COVID. When I spoke to the owner she was very reiterate about next time not moving over the full charge if I were to cancel again despite me never cancelling at all prior and I’ve been going to the peach bar for a little over 3 years. I was literally sick or else I would’ve gone but when the receptionist calls to cancel my appointment due to whatever reason with the waxer I pretty much have to deal with it. I understand policy is policy TRUST ME. HOWEVER, the policy is only effective when the service is consistent and not disruptive. The waxers there are never consistent and come and go so that tells me that either the pay is low or the rules of the facility are not employee friendly enough to stay, I don’t know. Overall, wanted to express my frustration because as much as the location is convenient for me and I currently love the waxed I usually book with, i will not be returning. I also had my friend put my name in the referral section prior to her first wax and I asked if there is a discount in place for the referral and the receptionist said I needed some card however, I don’t see the difference since she put my name on the intake form she did.
