I have been a Veiled customer for years shopping their online platform. I was so excited to be in town visiting family during the soft launch this week. The store is absolutely beautiful. Really loved the design and their thoughtfulness to include a play area. It was very helpful to be able to try on clothes in store. The young woman who was handling the fitting rooms this morning around 11 am was doing a great job. She was so kind and helpful. Really made the shopping experience easy. I love supporting Muslim-owned small businesses and really hoping to see Veiled open in Houston! I did have a few points for feedback. We were some of the few first customers to walk in WITH an appointment. There was one young woman in particular (wearing wide leg jeans) who was incredibly rude. When I asked to get a bag, she told me sorry for appointment only. When I told her I did have one, she did give it to me but I felt it was a bit begrudgingly. Immediately after a group of young women walked in clearly friends of hers, she greeted them very kindly, offered help, the swag bags etc. Told them about spinning the wheel. I was standing right there and she purposely ignored me. Didn’t ask me to do it. She kept walking past us without asking if we needed anything or even simply saying excuse me. I get that I am older and I don’t “look” like your typical young Veiled customer, but I didn’t think we were deserving of that treatment especially after spending $300+ in store. At first I thought it was me, but the two other people I was with confirmed she wasn’t being very kind to them either. Customer service especially within our growing Muslim business communities should be a priority. Treating all customers kindly, respectfully, and proactively should be a golden rule. As for the products, it would be very helpful to have a display of the hijabs that are on the wall in a neater easier way to see. It would also be helpful to have hijabs hung up to be able to do a size comparison of the different lengths and widths. My other feedback has always been that I wish some of the items (such as the absolutely gorgeous ombré abayas) were in fabrics that weren’t so heavy and feel almost like a plastic sheet. I’ve purchased similar abayas in Dubai, and it is possible to make them in a more comfortable fabric. I love a lot of the dresses and items, but the lining or the material is usually heavy on the synthetic polyester fabrics that are just not breathable. At these price points, I’d love to see more natural fabrics sourced ethically. Lastly, I found many of the pieces to be quite form fitting. I wish there were options for more modest and less fitted looks in similar designs as were available. I hope this feedback is taken with the customer in mind and used in a productive manner. It is meant to be constructive feedback. Praying for the continued success of your business.

I’ve spent over $1,500 at Veiled over time because I truly wanted to support a Muslim-owned business. Sadly, this was my last purchase. The customer service is extremely poor. I’ve sent multiple emails about a return and still haven’t received a response…yet there’s constant posting on social media. It looks like customer concerns aren’t a priority. This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue either. Once, my package was lost, and instead of being helped, I had to track down a phone number myself just to get a refund. As Muslims, we want to support and help each other grow, but it’s hard to continue supporting a business that doesn’t value or respect its customers and their loyalty. After all the money I’ve spent, I expected at least basic communication. Very sad to say, but this is the last time I’ll be shopping here. UPDATE: After posting my review, Veiled responded with a dismissive, AI-generated message that completely missed the point. Instead of taking accountability or addressing the lack of communication, they offered a generic apology and suggested I remove my review. If you’re the type of customer who values respect, honesty, and good attitude, please take this into consideration before purchasing.

I've been shopping online at Veiled for years - their attention to detail, trendy styles and inclusive sizing are second to none when it comes to modest fashion. Being able to shop in person now at the new flagship store makes the whole Veiled experience even better. Not only is the store stunning, the staff is extremely attentive and helpful, and the "play and pray" room is a very thoughtful addition. I will definitely be coming here regularly!

I had an exceptional shopping experience! The store is beautifully designed, clean, elegant, and thoughtfully organized, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere from the moment you enter. They offer a diverse selection of modest, high-quality clothing crafted from excellent fabrics, with careful attention to design and detail. Whether you're shopping for casual wear or formal attire, you'll find suitable options for any occasion. The staff were professional, kind, and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with my choices. It's evident that the store takes pride in both its products and customer...
