After recently getting married, my husband and I went in to this store to add my existing Verizon phone line to his plan. The customer service we experienced here was awful.
On the first visit, we spoke with a sales associate and worked out a new plan for both of our basic (non-smart) phones. Everything seemed to be in order, and the sales associate took care of ordering us a new basic phone for me that would count as a free upgrade. The phone had to be special ordered because although that had a display phone, they did not have any in stock. Apparently it's not a very popular phone.
When the new phone arrived a week later, we went back to the store to pick it up and transfer all my contacts, photos, etc. We expected the experience to be a quick, 15-30 minute ordeal. We got to the store at 5:52pm and left at 8:05pm. The same sales clerk that had helped us the first time was attempting to do the activation and transfer, but clearly did not know what he was doing. We sat for over two hours waiting for him to get the new phone activated and my information transferred to the new phone, during which time he talked with at least 3 representatives from Verizon corporate and called his manager for assistance twice. After our 2+ hours, my phone number had been switched to the new phone but that was it. He did not activate the phone, which I only found out the next day when I tried to make a phone call, and he did not transfer my contacts.
To his credit, the sales associate tried to be apologetic but blamed his incompetency on the folks at corporate to whom he talked during our 2+ hours in the store. His communication skills with the corporate folks was poor at best, and my husband ended up stepping in at one point because the sales associate was communicating incorrect information to the Verizon Customer Support center.
My husband asked for the Store Manager's information and called on at least two occasions, but his calls were not returned.
I advise anyone seeking assistance with their Verizon phone service to go to any store...
Read moreThe manager of this location is either clueless or purposefully lying about prices and tricking people into spending more than they think. I went in looking to replace a phone and told that I could get a Moto Z Play for only $240 due to a rebate that they said wouldn't hit my account for 3 months. He tried selling me a case and screen protector and when I said I would buy them online he began to brag about how he is usually able to get customers to pay $50 for a tempered glass screen protector when the same one can be bought online for $5.
After hearing him brag about ripping customers off, I thought the deal he gave me on my phone seemed suspicious and worth checking into. I called Verizon's support line and they said that what I was told in the store was false and that there was no applicable rebate. They said the rebate would probably never come through but I wouldn't know until after the 3 months. At that point, my only option would be trying to go back and return the phone and hope they would give me a full refund.
While on Verizon's website, I also noticed that there was now an insurance fee on my bill which hadn't been there before. I checked my receipt and saw that the manager added it on to my phone without asking and hoping I wouldn't notice. If I wouldn't have checked into all of this, I would be out an addition $168 on the phone and then the insurance I never asked for would've added on even more.
I went in the next day to get the insurance removed and the employee confirmed for me that the price I was quoted wasn't legit and said he couldn't honor it. That's when I looked into speaking with the manager and found out he was the one who deceptively sold everything to me. According to him, he forgot to take off the insurance and didn't understand the promotion fully. Don't go to this location!
Edit: Upon going back a second time the manager was able to honor the price he wrongly quoted me initially. I'm satisfied now but would recommend still checking into whatever you're told to make sure...
Read morei have been to countless Verizon stores in the past 7 years I've been with them. This place is outstanding. The customer service is beyond expectations. I can promise you that you won't find better anywhere else. Chris K., the owner, he is wonderful. Always very helpful and knows what he is doing. The Sales Reps, they are just so professional. Whoever trains them needs to be training every Verizon Rep. @RANDI HONKONEN... the reason they are a little more expensive out the door, is because they are a PREMIUM RETAILER, so therefore, they can charge more if they want, they have to make money too. but to be honest with you, i'd be willing to pay more money any day of the week to be helped by that store. its worth it. plus they do price match online so that is your fault for not bringing that up in store. You only have 14 days to return or exchange (says right there on your receipt, so read next time), again, your fault for not mentioning that when you got your phone. Sorry. ANYWAYS, i love talking this store up to my friends and family because Cell phones are a huge part of the new day and age and this place knows that so they are very helpful and knowledgable. Ask for Zac, Max, or Andre, Those...
