We stopped this brand-new Paris Baguette location during our family’s spring break trip, and it was a delightful experience overall! Having been to the Easton location before, we felt this new spot didn’t quite match that one in terms of overall vibe, but it still offered plenty of delicious choices that made our visit worthwhile. The bakery’s signature handcrafted pastries, cakes, and breads were beautifully displayed, and we enjoyed sampling a few of their freshly baked treats. Everything we tried was tasty and fresh, though we felt the selection and experience were just a notch below what we remembered from Easton. The staff was a highlight—super friendly and welcoming, they made us feel right at home and were happy to help us navigate the menu. Another big plus for this location is the convenience of the free parking garage right behind the bakery, which made our visit hassle-free in the busy Upper Arlington area. While it didn’t quite reach the same level as the Easton location for us, this Paris Baguette is still a great addition to the neighborhood. It’s a solid spot to grab a warm pastry or a gourmet coffee and enjoy a little taste of Paris in Columbus. We’ll definitely return to try more...
Read moreI recently visited Paris Baguette at 1369 W Lane Ave, Columbus, OH, and I was extremely disappointed with the customer service. After ordering a sandwich, I politely asked the employee who was heating it up if she could cut it in half for me. To my surprise, she flatly refused, claiming that the knives were "fully occupied." Instead, she suggested that I could use the plastic cutlery provided, which I was already aware of.
I prefer a clean cut for my sandwich, and I believe that’s a reasonable request, especially when I’m tipping for service. The employee's attitude was unprofessional and dismissive, which is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. If you’re not willing to provide basic customer service, perhaps it’s time to reconsider your role in this field.
Overall, my experience was frustrating, and I left feeling undervalued as a customer. I hope management addresses these issues, as they detract from what could be a pleasant...
Read morePastries are amazing, thus come with a higher price than a national donut chain. Some are recommended to be heated, which seems to be done in a small oven rather than a microwave as they are still crisp and flakely, such as the croissant with egg, cheese, and bacon. A fruit pastry with berries and a chocolate pastry also given high praise. Did take out. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The parking garage is not well signed. You will initially be forced to turn left. Many pedestrians walk out with the vehicles. Pillars often block views of your vehicle backing up to other drivers, who are often driving too fast (slightly slower than Starbucks lots). Ending up on the right (west) side of the garage is ideal as there is a pedestrian tunnel to the covered sidewalk. If you live in UA etc, use the back exit, else turn right at the...
