I visited this salon for the first time on Thursday, June 19th, for a scheduled pedicure and Gel-X manicure with nail art. I had booked the appointment online in advance, selecting both the "Gel-X" and "Nail Art" options, but there was no add-on option listed for French tips. I arrived promptly at 4:00 PM, but was asked to wait about 15 minutes while the station was being set up. This wait made me question the point of booking an appointment ahead of time if everything wasn’t ready.

To start on a positive note: the pedicure I received was great. The technician who did it was friendly, thorough, and took her time, which made that part of the experience very relaxing and enjoyable.

However, the Gel-X manicure was a completely different story. When it was time to start, I was told that French tips are considered a different service—they appear as an separated service instead of an add-on like the nail art. This caused confusion, since I assumed that French tips with a small design would fall under the "nail art" option I had selected. The staff had to ask the technician if she had time to do both French tips and the flower nail art. At first, she said she could only do the French tips.

I was going for a very specific look: almond-shaped Gel-X nails with clean white French tips and a small flower design—something simple and elegant that I had seen in an inspo photo. I had showed her my inspo picture, but once she started, it became clear the nails were not turning out how I had hoped. The shape was off, and the overall look didn’t match what I had envisioned. I tried to gently bring it up, but the technician was very cold and unapproachable, which made it uncomfortable for me to speak up. I didn’t want to cause a scene, so I stayed quiet and just let her continue.

At the very end of the appointment, she said she had enough time to add art to two fingers and quickly did a version of the flower design. Unfortunately, the quality of the work was very disappointing—my nails looked rushed, uneven, and nothing like what I had asked for. I left the salon around 6:00 PM feeling extremely let down and had to quickly find another nail salon to fix them, since I was leaving for vacation the next day.

Overall, while the pedicure was a highlight, the manicure experience left much to be desired. Between the lack of clarity during booking, the technician’s unwelcoming attitude, and the poor quality of the Gel-X nails, I left feeling stressed and disappointed. I would not return for nails and wouldn’t recommend this salon for anyone looking for detailed or custom nail work.

Jonny, my nail technician, was a true professional. He was meticulous and attentive as he applied my cat’s eye gel manicure, ensuring each nail was perfect. His careful application and eye for detail did not go unnoticed. Jonny’s expertise not only resulted in a stunning manicure but also made the experience feel truly personalized and special.

The entire visit to VINCI Nail Lounge was not just a treat but also surprisingly cost-effective, providing value that far exceeded my expectations. The end result was a flawless manicure that left me feeling pampered and pleased. I highly recommend Jonny and the team at VINCI Nail Lounge for anyone looking for a high-quality, luxurious nail care experience that won’t break the bank.

All I have to say is JEN IS AMAZING!!!!!!! She absolutely SLAYED this set from an inspo pic posted online! -pic in photos- she literally always gets my nails looking so perfect and they last 3 weeks AT LEAST. (For a girl who’s roooughhhh on her nails that’s so good 🥹🥹). She’s always so welcoming and takes her time picking out my colors with me. Always is so clean and super professional. I adore the owners there as well, they always come by to check her progress and compliment them! Just an all around amazing company ran by amazing people.
