I dont think we will be going back. I was told last year, at my daughters last exam, that when she is ready for contacts to call and schedule a fitting. Its a seperate appointment from an exam. So when my daughters classes broke, I called to ask if we could get a new pair and also do the contact fitting at the same time. The receptionist said yes. I clarified again that this is okay and she put me on hold to make sure and came back and said yes. The appointment came, we check in. The girl at the desk says, "you are here for contacts right?" Yep! When we get back to the room, the dr. comes in and says "so.... we dont do contacts and an exam together." I quickly cut him off and said I clarified 3 times!!! Her glasses are broken, we need something to wear while waiting for new glasses. He went out to check with the girls up front and basically came back and told me they dont do it but they will if i want to but it will be a 2 hr appointment. Its 5:30, they just didnt want to stay. I knew it would take time! Thats why I scheduled the appointment at the time I did. They made us feel like an inconvenience and tried to send us home with out getting new glasses so I reminded them. The dr took us to the girl who helped pick glasses (she was the only pleasant person) then Watched the Dr grab his stuff and leave and the whole time we were being stared at and watched by the girls at the front desk cause they wanted to leave for the day. So disappointed. My appointment CLEARLY showed that we were there for contacts. I had to leave work early to take her. But the Dr and his staff just didnt want to put in the work so late in the day and wasted our time. Now we dont have new glasses, they take over 2 weeks to arrive, and we dont...

When i came in i told them i was getting married and needed my frames before my wedding for pictures as my frames were old. I was told it wouldn't be a problem. I ordered my frames and called after two weeks they said they should be there shortly and if get a text. After another week I called back and was told the same thing. Then a few days later I called again and was told my sunglasses were there but they had a note that I didn't want them until my glasses arrived but that wasn't the case. Then I received a call that they had been meaning to get back to me to let me know they accidentally put the wrong prescription in the left eye and it had to be sent back and should be there the next week. I called again while on my honeymoon and was told I'd get a call back. I was called and told the lab lost my frames but they had another pair and would send it in. The day after I got back from my honeymoon, they called and said they were in. I went in to get them and they were the wrong frames! I had to take them because my other glasses were broken but I can't believe after weeks and weeks of blunders and I get the wrong frames. Complete disaster. I'm so beside myself because now I have to buy another set of frames due to someone else's mistakes.
I have a 2 star rating because the rest of my family got theirs in a timely manner...

I called to ask about ordering new contacts, whoever I spoke to was not kind and said that I couldnāt order new contacts until next year. I told her that my insurance told me it was covered, she said that she couldnāt help with that and that I would have to call my insurance provider. So I called my insurance provider and then verified that I was eligible for new contacts. I called Clinton Family Vision back to tell them that I my insurance said I WAS covered. I asked if they were able to contact my insurance company to verify this. When I asked I was trying to just relay the information, Iām not upset or in a rush, itās unserious. The person I was talking to said āas we close in 5 minutes I canāt call them todayā in a rude tone. She also said that she would ātry contacting them tomorrowā but sheās busy so she might not get to it. Let me say, THATāS FINE. Iām not in a rush, they told me to contact my insurance so I did and then I relayed the information, not expecting them to drop everything to call my insurance. I will not be ordering my contacts through them or booking with them ever again. I was simply trying to figure out how to order my contacts and have them covered and I was met with hostility and an unwillingness to be helpful. I did what they asked and called my insurance. I never meant to make anyone feel rushed, I called at 4:55 because I didnāt want to forget and just wanted to relay the information from my insurance. Theyāre open until 5, but my bad for calling...
