We wanted to try something new, & support local business. Hearing about the new remodel we thought this would be good. Walking in it was a nice place, but we weren't sure if we should seat ourselves, wait to be seated or join the line at the counter. Since we weren't doing take put, we sat at a table set with utensils & menus. After about 15min, a waitress came to take our order. We had been there so long, and the menu was so small (not many options at all), we gave our drink order & food order, 3 waters, 2 Dr. Peppers, & a Pepsi, orange chicken, beef hibachi, shrimp fried rice, dumplings, miso soup, salmon rolls, and sumo rolls. It took another 10 minutes to get our drinks, they forgot the Pepsi & brought a 4th water, not a big deal, an easy fix. Waited another 10min & got the wantons & orange chicken. We waited about 5 minutes before we started eating, waiting on the rest of the order and plates to split the food on. We had to ask for plates. When those came, we began eating, so the food didn't get cold. After finishing the 1st dish, the beef hibachi came out, we'll the 6 pieces of beef and plate full of slimy zucchini. Still waiting on the soup, fried rice & sushi. Had to ask about all of them, as it has now been almost 40 minutes since we ordered. The sushi came out, the sumo rolls and salmon rolls were chewy & not fresh. We had to ask again about the soup. After finishing and getting ready to pay, we realized we never got the shrimp fried rice, but was being charged for it. When I pointed it out, saying I'd just take it to go, they removed it from the bill all together. We had such high hopes, & were let down. Portions were small, nothing came out together, we had to ask repeatedly for things, & when we got it, it was not good. Dumplings & Orange chicken were the only things that were ok. Sadly, we will not be returning. The wait staff was pleasant, and the plates...

We recently tried their sushi menu. This review is based off that. Not their Hibachi. The sushi presented itself nicely in their togo cartons, everything looked in order. We go the 5 rolls home a began eating them, the tuna, salmon, eel on top of the rolls seemed fresh(?). There was no fishy smell or anything to be immediately concerned of. Once we had 1 or 2 rolls of each we started noticing some abnormalities that we were not stoked about. The salmon was almost bleeding, like the dye they use to give it that nice pink color. The tuna was flaking apart and the eel did have a weird smell to it, it was covered in a sauce and that must have masked the smell. My assumption is that the fish was not fresh, at all. I've had plenty of sushi at other establishments and everything mentioned and seen has taught me to BACK AWAY FROM THE FISH. The inside of the rolls were hastily put together and had WAY too much cucumber in every role.

So here I am the following day with a stomach that sounds like a whaling baby and don't have the confidence to move too quickly. I really wanted this place to work out, its so close to our home and on the way home from work. In the world of COVID places like this need to make sure they're firing on all cylinders, if you can't provide good quality food you should probably "86" them from your menu until your revenue comes...

Pros- New remodel is a fun vibe/nice decor. Now restaurant-style. Can be waited on or still order food to go. Atmosphere/music- current radio hits. Not too loud or overbearing- nice background music. Food- seems to be the same as before. My favorite is the American Dream sushi roll. Hibachi salmon and beef was also good- I get pretty picky with my salmon/all restaurants over-cook it to my liking so I'll probably try the shrimp next time. Price seems to be similar. Their menu reflects the 50% off sushi price they used to have as just their regular pricing now so it's no longer limited to certain days/times. Service- We came on a Sunday. Everything was timely and staff was friendly as usual.

Cons- Booth seating- the benches are too far away from the table. I was sitting on the very edge of the bench seat and still had to lean over to eat over my plate. No side order of noodles available anymore- that was my son's favorite. You now have to order a full entree for...

Let me preface this with the fact that I do not like onions. I'll eat them rarely, but given the option, I will usually skip them. HOWEVER, the onion soup (and everything else I've tried) here is amazing! Tonight I stopped in for just this soup. I was hoping to take it home and watch TV while I ate it, but it didn't make it that far. The cup was really full so I thought I'd sip it down to avoid a mess while driving. Next thing I know, my car windows are foggy and my soup is gone. But oh boy! It was delicious! 🤤 It was also nice to see that the man making my soup washed his hands as soon as I ordered and the woman wasn't just cleaning surface area to look busy. She was cleaning between the shelves and things. Definitely a good place from a clean standpoint as well as taste.

First timers, we were leaving our house and saw this place on Google maps. We only had 30 minutes to get there in order and leave because they close at 9 PM. We got there 15 till 9 PM and they got our food out just a little bit after nine the food was delicious! I got D.9 hibachi steak & chicken both meats were tender and the veggies that came with it were good too. My wife got D.10 hibachi steak & shrimp, she loved hers too we both ate Goyza the meat in it was tasty. The only thing we had asked for Fried Rice and was expecting it with peas & carrots with egg, it was only rice fried. Next time we will try their noodles. It is very delicious and inexpensive as you can see on my receipt; we will definitely be trying other items.
