Compared to other Asian grocery stores, this one offers the bare minimum. The owner is a very sweet lady yes, but I truly think the other comments are a sympathy/pity post on behalf of the sweet owner since she had a stroke. Unless the comments was maybe before she had it?
Shelves are barely stocked with only a few products. There are a lot of random items that look like they don’t belong around the fridges and shelves as if a kid has been going around placing their open drinks and snacks to store.
It honestly looks like the lady runs it by herself and her kids help out once in a while by making one big haul to help her stock because most of the fridges only have Bibigo dumplings and Korean hot dogs. Everything on the shelves look old and like it has been sitting there a while. Any newly placed product are just 2-3 trendy Korean snacks.
There is essentially no seafood or fresh vegetable option. Some expired products, especially in the freezer. And the ones they do have look like it’s been sitting there far too long, with the fish having been inside the freezer for years with freezer burn. I have never seen a store look in such a sorry state.
