Cocoa Commons — Local services in Cocoa

There are some really neat shops in Cocoa Commons. Publix is here along with the country "Diner", China Gardens, 2 pubs, a UPS Store, Anytime Fitness, banking (TD Bank, I think?), and great veterinary care are all here. The plaza is well lit and very clean. Folks are friendly. The Diner has the best food and the staff are awesome - Jackie is my favorite. China Park is kinda a hit and miss these days. The food is mostly good but sometimes it made my stomach hurt, so I haven't bought food there in a long time. In addition, their portions are much smaller today than they were years ago. The pubs are great, and Anytime Fitness is open to members 24/7 if you are open to gyms automatically taking money directly from your checking account. I don't patronize businesses that only offer services if they can auto debit your bank account. Give people the freedom to decide when and how they chose to pay monthly including cash options is my choice. This is some of what you will find in Cocoa Commons off SR 524...

A pleasant, medium-sized mall. I frankly forget the "little" shops, but anytime you see a mall "anchored" by Publix Super Market, you can be sure that they are ALL high quality. Publix must have standards for huddled in its shadow.

Publix employees participate in profit sharing and it shows. One story: a friend and I came into a Publix looking for a specific product. Sorry, the nice lady Publix said, it appears we're all out of it.

Naturally, we were disappointed and went back out to the car. We were about to get in when we heard, "Ma,am, I found one, I found one!" That nice Publix lady was practically running, holding our product aloft triumphantly. (!)

I went to the Publix in this strip mall and it's one of their largest stores and everything was very nice people were very friendly employees were very helpful. I purchased a sub and it was very slow getting a meatball sub but I detected it didn't have necessarily to do with the employees but rather the process that they had to go through an audit to make it. Even though it took a long time it was the best meatball sub I have ever had and I certainly would stand in line to get it again.
