Wingstop — Restaurant in Cocoa

Driving back from North Georgia eight straight hours sliding into town. I call ahead cuz we just decided wings was going to do it for the night. I asked if she had a 20 piece and was told yes and that I could make it into a combo with fries and two drinks. I told her I don't need the drinks but could we substitute the drinks for a second fry and she said we can do that when you get here. You can't order over the phone just online. I slipped into Publix to grab some slaw and then walked next door to make my order. There's no such thing as a 20 piece and when she asked about subbing out the drinks for a fry The girl literally looked me in the face and said no! I wound up with no combo. Just 15 scrawny pieces of chicken with way too much seasoning for $21. I asked where's the dipping sauce and she says that's extra. I could have gone to the deli at Publix and got a nine piece with breasts, drums and thighs for 12 bucks but the place was already closed at that point. Wings were hard and dry by the way. Somehow, I knew they would mess this up. This restaurant has always been one of my favorites, so I was excited for it to open in Cocoa. I told my mom that they would start out well but eventually ruin it, and now that seems to be happening. The last time I visited, my chicken tenders were overcooked—very tough and chewy. My fries were soggy. Obviously they didn’t fry them long enough.I also noticed as I was leaving that a worker come in and went straight to assist in the kitchen without washing her hands. When I walked in, there were about eight people waiting in the lobby and only two staff members working. They had a line of tickets. It seems like, in order to keep up with demand, they've started taking shortcuts and folks have gone lax on the safety measures. One of the girls in their her clothes are filthy. They just opened so it shouldn’t be this bad this soon. Someone needs to go in there and give them a peptalk because it’s only going...

If I could do no stars, I would. This place had been open a couple weeks and seemed to have some good reviews, so I thought I would try it out. I ordered online and said it would be ready in 30 mins. When arriving thier were so many people waiting they was even a crowd outside and in the parking lot. Everyone looked very angry, so I thought they were backed up and expected my order maybe a little late. An hour after my scheduled pick up time I phoned the place and canceled my order. The person on the phone said the manager would reverse any charges. We'll that never happened, and two weeks of calling I finally got to talk to a manager who said she was told she could not refund any orders except those made in store! She offered no other instruction of how to try to get my money back she just said try to find a number on the website which there are none. I will never order from this place or recommend it...
