I gave it two stars because the service was good and the cook did a good job in spite of the low quality ingredients he was given to work with. Overall, definitely not going back there again unless they increase the quality of their ingredients.
The issue I have with this place is with the very low quality of the ingredients in the Ultimate Omlet I ordered. The first couple bites, I literally had to spit out and check what the heck I just put in my mouth. Turned out my visceral reaction was due to the spinach, mushrooms, and bacon, all of which are ingredients that I normally love.
I had multiple bites where I had to stop to pull out what I thought was hair from my mouth, turned out the spinach had very tough, long fibers in the stems. Gross.
I normally like canned mushrooms, I sometimes even eat them on a salad, but these canned mushrooms tasted terrible. I had to pull them all out, but the taste from them still bled over to the other ingredients.
But the worst ingredient in the omelet was the bacon, if you can call it that. It had no bacon flavor at all and the texture was somewhere between jerky and cardboard. It was clearly not the same bacon you get when you order their strips of fried bacon.
I'll also mention, the "home fries" were not fried at all, they were just boiled potatoes that were diced, which I like boiled potatoes , so not a big deal, but I was really looking forward to some home fried potatoes, which is not what...

(Attn Google maps team:) Trying to effect a change in the map pin location in Google maps. All other information is correct including street address. Map pin shows inside of Publix market in the back of the store. Cocoa Commons is a strip mall with Publix as Center of mall.
Country Cooking is located to your left of Publix about halfway to the eastern end of Cocoa Commons. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Arrived here on a balmy Sunday morning to a packed restaurant 🍴. That said... I was quickly seated.
Staff is amazingly friendly and efficient. This is the hometown breakfast that everyone wants. Clean establishment, hot fresh coffee, crispy home fries, fluffy OMELETS and pancakes 🥞 that are cloud like .
The only thing missing... More seating capacity. If are hungry for breakfast or lunch (open 6 am to 2 pm daily) it's worth the drive from the beach, Port St John, Rockledge, Canaveral Grove and in from the 95

The only thing I was not a fan of was when the bill came and the lady was holding the card machine and watched as I was leaving the tip over my shoulder. The tip was already suggested 21%, 23% or 27%. I was shocked, in my opinion that is too high. Usually it's 18%, 20%, 22% I don't think the suggested tip should be so high. I didn't like that the restaurant forces you to tip so high. Don't get me wrong, I tip where it's deserved and if my waiter or waitress is outstanding the tip I leave will reflect their performance. I don't like to be forced on a certain percentage of suggested tip. Other than that we enjoyed our breakfast here just wanted to mention about the suggested tip for the next person to be aware. Also it's my hopes that the restaurant may review the suggested tip screen and adjust it. Who knows maybe more customers will...
