6:20 pm 1/30/25. The staff is uneducated. The girl behind the desk said it was not possible to reset the 8 digit account pin over the phone or in the store and it was needed to get a replacement phone for the broken one. This sounded like BS to me so I copied this from the Metro PCS website:
"If you don't reset your PIN, Metro will reset it for you. You'll need to go through the account recovery steps again, either by calling customer service or visiting a store".

When she realized we weren't there to purchase a phone, but rather activate a phone we'd purchased elsewhere, she said our plan would have to change. Little did the sassy girl know we had purchased the exact same phone for our other son just months prior AND activated it at the same store and NO CHANGES were made to our plan. Now she is overseas with no way to contact without someone’s Wi-Fi. Was also lied to about the Wi-Fi we signed up for. It may be off satellite someday but it isn’t now.
