Disappointing Experience at PayMore – Twice

First Visit: I brought in a brand new, sealed 1000W Corsair power supply. The employee offered me only $100 for it, which I felt was an unfair and extremely low offer. I declined and left.

Second Visit: I returned later in the day hoping for a better experience. This time, a different employee seemed unsure whether they could even buy the power supply because he claimed it was "too old"—despite it being unopened and unused. That made no sense to me, especially considering this same location has purchased full computers containing older, used components like power supplies and graphics cards.

At this point, I realized this place is not worth the effort. They advertise themselves as buying electronics, yet couldn’t give me a straight answer—or even a consistent one—about a brand-new, high-quality item. The second visit just confirmed that trying again was a waste of my time.

It’s ironic how quick they are to buy used parts inside full systems, but suddenly hesitate when it’s a sealed, new component. Do they even understand what a power supply is? The inconsistency and lack of knowledge were frustrating.

Final Result: I sold the same 1000W Corsair PSU on Facebook Marketplace within 20 minutes for $260—more than double what PayMore offered. That...

They go buy ebay post of tools that are close to what you brought in. Brought multiple tools in and they actually bought the older drill because he said that it had a sale on ebay when I asked him. But the other drill which was 4 yrs newer and a much better drill he passed on. Besides the lowball prices they offered on a 1000 dollar tool that we sold down the street at pawn shop for 375$ they offered 40$ I believe that this place needs people that actually know what a tool is worth rather than a ebay post. The tools that they took where the oldest and cheapest of all. We would of sold the tool we took down the street for a 100$ because we need the room in are garage and had doubles of the stuff but 40$ lol Need to know what you are looking at not what's on ebay mabey sell from store or stick to what you know. Pawn shop was extremely easy to work with and 10 minutes instead of a hour and a half. And offered 335 dollars more so shop around. Went into store and if your in the need of cash and walking out still needing more this place is it! Place is a scam. Tried to do a trade in not sell and the items I showed were a Logitech steering wheel and pedal set sell over 100 and the answer I got was he could not trade or buy do to he hand no way to test. So I said you have 3 ps4 for sale in display case used. He said they don’t test on used equipment. Then tried to offer low number then I showed him a 2015 MacBook Air that works and the bs line was it sells for 60 bucks! Apparently he didn’t look on their own web page, because they had same yrs plus others from 2014 selling for 95 up to 130 bucks and they only want to buy for 20 trade. They are on crack. Hell they are selling used gaming systems from almost new prices. They had switch from 2018 selling for 160 when u can still get on Amazon refurbish for less or even new for few bucks more.
