Very long review ahead lol
I came to this salon a couple weeks ago on 3/18/22 and got acrylic nails and an express pedicure by T and Tās service was great! He made sure my water wasnāt too hot and he was very nice while servicing me. Michael on the other hand was very concerningā¦
Today on 4/11/22 I came to get those same acrylic nails soaked off and a color change on my toes. I was serviced by Michael for my appointment today and it was horrendous. Instead of soaking my ACRYLIC nails off in acetone like you normally would, he took a nail tip and proceeded to slide it under the acrylic and RIP up the remaining acrylic off my nails. He hurt me twice during the process. Now, he did cut and use the drill the thin them out but that was probably the only thing he did right during this process lol. I confronted him about what he was doing and he told me that soaking the nails off āTakes too longāā¦. So you rip them off and destroy my nail beds in convenience for you??? Okay š¤¦š¾āāļøš
Once he finished ripping up the acrylic and destroying my nail beds during the process, we moved on to the pedicure station where he was careless and did a sloppy job at paining my toes. When painting my toes he spilled clear coat down my toe and proceeded to wipe it up with his finger. He didnāt bother using acetone or anything to remove it.. just his plain old finger š He painted my toes very carelessly so much so that I had to ask if he could put another coat of nail polish because the two coats he did were not opaque as the color I chose was a light and natural pink and needed at least two coats to be opaque.
Iād also like to add that instead of doing my nails at the manicure station, he proceeded to do them at the pedicure station š And he rushed through that too lol. At some point in the service while painting my nails he spilled top coat on my pant leg which luckily didnāt cause a visible stain as it was clear but the fact still remains that no care and consideration for the fact that I was paying for this service was given.
I really hate that this was my experience today as my last one was quite well. I really enjoyed the service I received a couple weeks ago and would definitely recommend T to anyone else planning to come here. I would not recommend Michael to anyone whoās planning on attending here though. I really do like this nail salon but I did not like or appreciate the service Michael provided me with today. Other than that this salon is very clean...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk . . . I'm a man . . . and there's a misconception that "men don't visit these type places". To be frank . . . (and honest) . . . I never considered "visiting these type places" either.
About 7 years ago . . . ("ish") . . . my doctor recommended that I go get a pedicure. I am a type 2 diabetic . . . and when you live with this disease . . . "you gotta be sure that you take care of your feet". So I heeded my doctor's advice . . . and "oh, boy" . . . the first time I went . . . it was like "eating chocolate for the very first time".
So now, I'm an addict. I visit "these type places" about once a month. They cut your toenails (which I haven't had to do myself anymore these past 7 years) . . . trim the edges of your toenails . . . remove the dead skin off the bottom of your feet . . . and lotion & massage your feet and leg (up to your knee). I love it.
I've been going to Luxury Nails about a year now. The ladies are all "excellent" . . . nice . . . friendly . . . and do an outstanding job with their pedicure.
Making an appointment is very easy on their website . . . or you can just "show up" and they'll work you in.
Their prices are very compatible to the other place that I used to go . . . and I would recommend "this type of place" . . . to any person . . . (man, woman, or child) . . . to come out and experience the "luxury" . . . at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will never give this place another penny of my money! I got a gel manicure on Sunday afternoon. By Monday eveningābarely 24 hours laterāthe polish was already peeling and cracking. I went back on Tuesday to have it fixed, only to find out theyāre closed on Tuesdays. So I return again on Wednesday. When I arrive, I explain that I need to get my nails fixed. I'm told to pick a color, but I donāt remember the number because my daughter had picked it, and the lighting in the salon makes it hard to match the shade exactly. Instead of helping me identify the original color or offering a solution, they tell me that unless I find the exact match, Iāll have to pay for a complete color change. I asked the technician what she thought was fair, considering their gel polish only lasted a single day. Her response? āIām being fair.ā I spent $240(for me and my daughter)on a manicure and pedicure, including tip. The bare minimum of good customer service wouldāve been change the polish completely free of charge. A gel manicure should not be cracking after one day, and any reputable salon should stand by their work. This was a complete waste of my time and money. I WALKED out with two different shades of color! So,...
