I used to use AHS for all my homebrew supplies, but I've decided to exclusively use Brew Supply Haus for several reasons. The most important reason is the quality of the crush. My efficiencies increased by 10-15% after switching shops because BSH crushes the grains so much better than any other homebrew shop I've used. Customer service is exceptional here as well. I compared prices on several items and the total cost of my order ends up cheaper here since I don't have to pay for shipping. The selection and quality of the ingredients is very good. It's a small operation so if you plan ahead, I recommend emailing the owner your order and he'll let you know when it's ready. The email address is on the website. It's great to have a local homebrew shop, especially one as good as BSH.

I am so thankful that I got a sourdough starter from Kristi at Brew Supply Haus. The starter "woke up" at the first feeding and has been going great ever since. I found Hodgson Mills whole grain rye flour at Brookshires so I split the starter and now have one regular and one rye. Kristi's starter REALLY likes the rye flour. I don't care if the supermarket has bread or not!

This place is INCREDIBLE! The owners' customer service is top notch. I pulled in today, realized I was there outside of their normal business hours and started backing up to leave.. only to have one of the owners greet me at the car to ask what I need and if they can help. They were working on the store and invited me in to shop and chat.

Super friendly, great selection, great prices, knowledgeable and eager to help... what more can you ask for!?

Reviews from a few months ago were raving about this place, but calling this a 'small' shop. Not the case anymore. During our chat, I found out they recently took over the 2 retail spaces next to them and have tripled the size of their space.

If you’ve ever tossed around the idea of making your own house wine or beer, it can be a little mysterious at first. With Brew Supply Haus you have both a supplier and experienced brewer to help you start up a very rewarding hobby. Competitive prices and great selection make this comparable to Amazon..but way more value here because you can handle actual ingredients/supplies, get advice, and be inspired to try new projects as you browse the inventory.
