I wrote the following review to Chipotle's customer service via their website on 27 January 2025: "I was at this Chipotle on 27 January and they had a sign on the door saying they were out of pico and black beans. Once inside, they were also out of queso, napkins, forks, and half of the fountain soft drinks. This is an ongoing issue at this Chipotle. Myself and friends have been here multiple times and they are frequently out of items. The google reviews are also 2.7 for this location with many reviews saying they are often out of items. This location has been open for several years and should have a better process for ensuring buying of items. Running out of items now and then is understandable but repeatedly being out of items is poor management at the store level as well as poor management at the corporate level. Customers have expressed their dissatisfaction through Google for years and the issue remains, suggesting Chipotle doesn't care about service or the quality of their product. I will also provide this review in a public forum for accountability but I am writing to the company personally in hopes something can finally change. Each visit to a location is a representation of your company and Chipotle should aim to do better."
On 28 January 2025 I received the following reply from Chipotle's Customer Care Coordinator: "Thank you for reaching out to Chipotle Customer Care! I’m so sorry to hear that the store was out of pico, black beans, queso, napkin, and fork. I know that it had to be both frustrating and disappointing. This is not the experience that we want to provide for our guests. We’re always looking to make things right and we want to get you the delicious meal you are craving! I’ll be sure to pass this along to our Wellborn team so we can be sure we are stocked up on all of your favorites. Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with. Thank you and have a great day ahead!"
Of course, this was a canned response but it also showed complete disregard for the overarching issue which is the store is often out of items and demonstrates poor management and oversight. The Customer Care Coordinator only repeated what I said they were out of on the one visit.
This location has a history of poor service and poor management which is shown by the Google Reviews of 2.7. Chipotle's aren't franchised and this is a corporate level issue which should be resolved. Ordering of items, especially non-perishables, is business management 101 and the failure of this location to be able to appropriately order items demonstrates poor management...
Read moreStay away. This place totally sucks. We just went there and regret it. The other two Chipotle restaurants in town are fine, so go to one of those instead if you want Chipotle. The employees are too lazy to unlock both front doors, so half the customers tug on the locked one first, before trying the unlocked one. They were out of the mixed vegetables, guacamole and mild salsa. They do not serve the barbacoa with a slotted spoon, so you get lots of liquid with that which instantly turns any taco shell to mush. They did not label anything, so you can not figure out which order is whose, especially the burritos, we just had to guess. The one thing they did label was the chicken tacos, which they mislabelled as beef tacos, and charged me more for those than chicken. No problem, right? because they gave me a receipt. Except it was the receipt for the previous customer in line, not mine. We always get hot sauce at Chipotle restaurants. We got hot sauce. They dumped such enormous quantities on two of the burritos that they were inedible, we threw them out. I am allergic to cheese. They spilled cheese...
Read moreA bunch of kids running this Chipotle and no one knows what they are doing! My son went there today and tried to order our food to go. He was told that they weren't taking orders and he could not pay for anything, but instead could get a free meal. He calls us and says they won't take any orders that you pay for, but are giving complimentary meals, one per person, but you have to come down here. We think cool, drive all the way down from South CS get in line. We get ready to order and are approached by someone asking for a flyer. We obviously don't have a flyer, she says it's by invitation only. We explain our son was just here and didn't have a flyer and got his food. We were turned away with nothing! They didn't have anyone outside letting us know or didn't have anything on the door indicating it was invitation only. There were a bunch of kids standing around and no one in charge. Not the best start to this opening. If you're going to have an invitation only event, post it on the door and have someone up front or even outside letting people know. What a...
