Lock N Roll Storage — Local services in College Station

Horrible place. The storage itself was nice and price was not bad, but if you are a college student that goes to A&M or Blinn do not go. Me and several friends have used this place and they charged us an extra month due to them forgetting that we moved out. The old lady at the front didn’t even try to understand that it was an error on their end and charged a bunch of us college students. We had no issues with paying for the months we were there but to get charged for an extra month is quite ridiculous. Money grabbing for college students is a bit much don’t you think? She said we hadn’t unlocked the doors to keep them open but we did because we HAVE THE LOCKS. We asked her to find security footage proof of us not leaving it unlocked and she refused. Again if we truly did make a mistake and used an extra month we would not have minded paying. If you look at the reviews it’s always about the older lady with white hair working. PSA: My trailer was stolen from Lock N Roll Storage between 6/26 and 7/2. The College Station Police requested access to the security footage on 7/3. The ENTIRE week, the CSPD and myself have been calling about the security footage, but the manager has stated that she has been too busy, and that she’ll try and get to it. She’s been giving myself and the police the run around all week. She clearly does not care about how almost $40,000 of a customers property managed to go missing from the facility. Conveniently, the security tapes auto delete after 10 days (according to the manager.) There are cameras everywhere, but it doesn’t matter because this facilities manager will not help her customers by releasing the only evidence of the theft to the police. This place IS NOT secure. I highly recommend moving your stuff out of here, and if your thinking about using this place, let me save you the headache. DO NOT...

Although advertised as "climate controlled", the metal buildings are 85 degrees or hotter in the summer. We placed ID stickers on furniture to make moving easier, but they melted onto the furniture. Some of the furniture had to be refinished because of the damage from melted stickers. The employees I encountered were not helpful. Only one person actually helped us find a solution to a problem we had with the building.

The hours are limited. Weekends when you need access to your storage, the building closes at 4 pm on Saturday.

The loading ramp is so steep it's hard to get a load of items up the ramp. We were actually suffering from heat exhaustion when moving out of this storage building and finally hired movers. The movers were having heat problems as well.
