This place deserves negative amount of stars. My son is 4 MONTHS OLD, yes, 4 months old. He was born premature and requires a compounded liquid form of reflux meds. We just moved here from Georgia and was told Walgreens could compound it. First, they fought me on my insurance. Secondly, they FORGOT to fill his prescription. Third, they got an attitude when I told them it was their fault that my prescription wasn't ready. My son needs his medicine twice daily and we were out at this point. The big kicker is they decided to compound his medicine without using flavoring like EVERY OTHER pharmacy does. So my son threw up and screamed because it literally tasted like poison. My husband went back to express his concerns where they basically "tough sh*t". He is a baby and cannot eat what tastes like baking soda and nail polish remover twice daily. I couldn't!! My poor guy is still without medicine after Walgreens terrible customer service and knowledge failed him. HEB pharm said to bring them the medicine and they'll doctor it up so it won't taste so bad. I'll never step foot into this...
Read moreShut window before they weer actually closed. The prescription had been ready for several hours. I arrived with my cash and ID in hand and offered to pay with card if that was easier. I didn't argue that it wasn't quite 9, I was very polite and apologized for showing up so late. I just got off from my 15 hour shift at work and it was my first chance to get my meds. The only words I got from the person who poked their head out and listened to my plea was "We're closed". I, again, apologized for showing up so close to closing time and asked if there was any way I could be helped, that I had multiple forms of payment in hand, that I was already in the system, that it was ready several hours earlier, and that I'd had the medication before so there would be no need to have anyone speak with me about it. No dice. She just said "the drawer is already done". Give me a break.
They've screwed up my prescriptions before. So, their ineptitude combined with lack of customer service/compassion is enough for me to begin using a different pharmacy, effective...
Read moreDiscriminated against a cancer patient for wanting to check their prescriptions even though one of the prescription was incorrect. A Black female pharmacist took a deplorable tone and bullied the patron - even gaslighting management about the patrons supposed “past behavior” despite having only gone in person to retrieve their drugs only a handful of times since their diagnosis about two years ago. Please do not support healthcare workers/businesses who feel it’s is justified to bully some of our most vulnerable terminally I’ll family members because they need to make sure their lifesaving meds are correct! Cancer is a disability and the trauma one experiences with their drugs and medications throughout treatment is very real. If the patient had walked in a year ago with her hair loss and sunken features from active chemo and radiation she would not have been treated so poorly and bullied when asking about her...
