Could easily be subtitled Nom Cafe.

Friendly and efficient staff. I ordered take-out, but opted to sit at one of the outdoor tables. Seamless online ordering app. The app sends a text when the order is ready. Intriguing blackboard-style art. A home run.

5-spice tofu vermicelli. The complex, bright flavor profile comes from the tartness of the pickled carrots complemented by cucumber and crunchy bean sprouts. And, of course, crushed peanuts. The spiced tofu itself runs away with the show. Best tofu I've ever tasted. A treat for opportunivores, vegetarians, and vegans.

Vegetarian pho: Yum. The aroma of star anise was a portend of the great taste to come of this wonderful, spritely pho with jalapeño, a generous portion of bean sprouts, onion, basil, and, of course, rice noodles. Hoisin sauce and sriracha were the perfect condiments.

Vegetarian egg rolls: Crunchy with a delightful combination of vegetables. complemented by a not-too-sweet sauce and the lovely pickled carrots and daikon. A happy surprise to find a...

During this outbreak, and just desperately needing a change of pace, we ordered the delivery. It took a little longer than normal as they were also preparing take out orders and doing their best all around. We had eaten there before and always enjoyed the food. This time was no different :)

We ordered the pho with fatty brisket and round eye steak. Very flavorful! They pack the extra sauces and veggies neatly and separately to deliver. It was very easy to put together and get some nourishing soup in. Also had the fried rice, which is a Vietnamese twist on the Chinese fried rice you may be used too. Ingredients tasted fresh and not too salty. My husband ate his baos super quick, so I'm going to assume those were also delicious as usual, lol. My favorite part was the bahnmi: y'all, it was big enough to be two separate meals. Good balance of ingredients. Nice flavor in the meat 👌 Delicious!

Thank you workers at Nam for being there to provide food for us! I hope you are able to continue through these...

One of the things that really irks me, is what this place does. I placed a to-go order using the laminated handheld menu that they've kept for the "customers convenience"- according to the man that works there. This menu is 6 years old and has the wrong prices. No one tells you that the correct prices are on the TV screen tucked away behind the counter. Upon checking my receipt, there was close to $10 upcharge on the food I ordered plus a charge for each item that was packed to-go. I don't believe that they can't afford to have new menus re-printed after SIX YEARS, especially after who knows how many people have been over charged for their food... its just a ploy to get people to over pay. On top of the fact that the food was sub par. The 5 spice vermicelli was sweet, not spicy at all and all of it was bland. Disgusting place and disgusting, unethical practice of over charging customers. I would avoid this location...

We had ordered online for pick up. The food was prepared really quickly. My husband and I had never eaten here before but we kept hearing good things about huge food portions and great flavors. We were really disappointed. We ordered steak and eggs and loaded fries. The steak and eggs was an extremely small portion. The bowl for the fries was the same size but completely full. Both had decent flavors but not worth $28 for only 2 items. Won't be going back. (For size reference, the bread sticks were over 4 inches long. There's not even a half cup of meat.) Edit: I was informed that it was 5oz. of filet mignon and that we received a good deal for that for that cut of meat. Next time I'll just take myself to a steak house for that price, since they told me that I could have paid 20 anywhere else. What they fail to mention is that sides are usually included and filet mignon is never cooked well done, as they did at Nam's

I used to like this place and it’s right by my house, but the last 3 times I have been here they have served me some of the worst Pho I have ever had. Pho is actually one of my favorite foods. I thought maybe the last two times were just bad days, but this store has consistently served bad Pho and they actually charge more than other Pho restaurants, which are much better. The soup was okay. The basil leaves are always wilted. They overload the bowl with overcooked noodles and they also serve me without bean sprouts every time. The waiter always has an excuse, this time it was “ Hurricane Berly impacted supply lines.” I know the rating seems a little harsh, but I truly believe in this case it wasn’t necessary. I did not enjoy my meal.

This place is the worst Nam Cafe I’ve ever been too. It’s already 20mins out of my way and once I got take out they didn’t properly close the lid on the soups. The soups spilled all over my new car. I called for a refund on the soups and they hanged up after saying they would speak to the manager. Then I called again furious that they didn’t want to handle the situation. They said that “once it leaves their store it’s not their fault” which doesn’t make since since it was on them for not being able to give good customer service. Anyways I would highly not recommend this place. It’s my second time having a bad situation in this Nam. Also the other Nam Cafe near A&M is cheaper & treats their customers right! Go get your money’s worth.
