In the past 3 weeks tge store has changed lengths of aisles, what is located on aisles. Some parts have things 3 deep. NOTHING IS ANYWHERE NEAR WHERE IT WAS BEFORE. There are no signs, map, and things have changedsizes to having To buy 3 bags of something instead of one. The Command strips are behind 3 other very tall shelves with non-related items. I am sure 3M would Not like that. We could not find Sparkling Water so at checkout 3 girls were standing there and one said back wall and no not there. She pecked on her cellphone and said aisle 10. It had already taken twice as long to find the groceries. Some aisles are way too close together and too crowded. The front aisles are half as long so cooking supplies are take up six aisles. If tgere were 3 girls chatting at the checkout why didn't one ask what flavor of water and run get it? There was Hershey specialty bags of different chocolates with an almond in each nugget. However, half of the bags had been opened and maybe a fourth left in each of these opened bags. HEB has been our store of choice since I was 3 years old by my parents and now our choice. I am 63 so 60 years of HEB. I dislike Kroger's but if you can't put things where people can find them, make maps, shorten the aisles a little bit, AND HELP US INSTEAD OF 3 GIRLS CHATTING AT CASH REGISTER, THEN WE MAY HAVE TO DO SOMETHING DRASTIC. We cannot take twice as long each week To hunt for things and workers just standing around when we asked. It was about 11:20 am on Saturday June 10, 2017. We will have to go to Krogers for sparkling water and a few other things and man the shelves. With the length of shelves so long you have too many "dead" spots where people can open packages of candy, take 3/4 out into a purse or pocket and put empty bag on the shelves.
Very disappointed in the new "arrangement" and lack of signs and or maps. Kroger has never had maps. Our grocery listwas made out in order of the store but that keeps changing and why walk 3/4 the length of the store for each item hunting for it.

Read moreI was sent to do some last minute shopping on Thanksgiving, and an employee named Heidi made my trip to the grocery store a whole lot easier. As I walked up to the store there were managers and/or supervisors standing outside and one of them which seemed to be in charge told me that they weren’t allowing customers to grab shopping carts, so I didn’t know how I was going to carry everything since I’m recovering from an injury. Within minutes upon entering the store I opened the H-E-B app to find the items on my list, and made my way to aisle six and started to grab some items. That’s when Heidi walked up and asked me if I needed help finding anything. She noticed that I was trying to carry multiple cans of Libby’s 100% Pure Pumpkin and Nestle Carnation Evaporated Milk, so she asked me if I needed a hand basket. I said yes. After she came back with the hand basket I told her that I was injured and thanked her for helping me out. She said you’re welcome. Not only that, she helped me find the last item on my list which was Sugary Sam Golden Cut Sweet Potatoes which was quicker than looking it up in the app. I was in and out in a flash. Thank you Heidi for going above and beyond. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!...
Read moreThis is my neighbourhood grocery store. I shop here two or three times a week. I can get almost anything that I need here. It is a well stocked store. Their beer and wine selection is extensive. The produce is always fresh and they have interesting vegetables that they bring in from time to time.
If I had one complaint, it's the seafood department. The quality is good and always fresh but it lacks variety. I wish it were more along the lines of a Central Market or H-Mart where sushi grade seafood are available. Still, it meets they day to day needs of my seafood purchases.
The bakery is good offering a nice selection of baked goods. I am a real fan of there combination corn and flour tortillas, a nice texture, freshly made in the store.
The employees are always friendly and willing to help find something that one may be looking for. On the rare times that I wanted a refund or to exchange something, it was easily done. Their customer service is outstanding.
The place is always clean, well lit and most of the cashier lines are open (Wal-Mart take a hint).
As I have mentioned, H-E-B is a great community partner supporting and sponsoring many organizations and events. ...
