It is a lovely antique shop offering a variety of items from different vendors; however, the staff could be more thoughtful. The cashier rang up my purchase and stated my total was “$68 with tax”. The receipt showed I paid $71. When I pointed out the difference, she explained there’s a 4% surcharge for credit card transactions, which was noted on a sign at the register that was inconspicuously hidden by a large vase of flowers. After moving the flowers, she assured me that she normally tells shoppers before they pay, but didn’t offer a refund of the difference if I paid with cash or debit card. Enjoy the extra $3 you made off of me. It’s also worth pointing out that another staff followed me to the second floor and aimlessly looked at items near me, seemingly to see if I was shoplifting.
