I would like to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with D1 Colleyville. In April 2023, I eagerly signed up for the summer session, only to discover that I had been overcharged. At that time, the staff assured me that the owner would personally contact me to resolve the issue and refund the excess amount. Regrettably, that call never materialized, and despite numerous attempts to follow up, as of today, May 24, 2023, the overcharge refund remains unresolved.
Adding to my dismay, my son sustained an injury in May that necessitated him to attend physical therapy. Due to this unfortunate circumstance, he is now unable to participate in the summer session. In light of this, I reached out to the facility to request a full refund based on his inability to attend. Initially, I was informed that Cody, the manager, would contact me after concluding a meeting. However, despite patiently awaiting his callback, I received no response. Hours later, when I reached out to inquire about the delay, I was informed that Cody was still engaged in a meeting. Disappointingly, no call came through that day.
Growing increasingly concerned, I made another attempt to contact the facility today. This time, I spoke with Reagan, who conveyed to me that D1 Colleyville has a strict no-refund policy. I am deeply troubled by this response, as it seems unjustifiable given the circumstances. Not only has my son suffered an injury, but we have also never received any services from this facility. To compound matters, I have been overcharged and met with resistance when seeking a fair resolution. This entire ordeal has been an incredibly distressing experience, and I cannot endorse D1 Colleyville to anyone. In fact, I intend to warn my friends and acquaintances about my negative encounter with this establishment.
As parents, we invest a significant amount of our hard-earned money into our children's activities. When a child sustains an injury, the financial burden becomes even greater due to medical expenses. Under these circumstances, the refusal to provide a refund is simply unacceptable. I deeply regret having engaged with D1 Colleyville, as the level of service I have encountered falls far below the minimum...
Read moreMy daughter attended more than a year ago. She ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. However, she got injured and had to stop going. We filled all the necessary paperwork for payments to stop, according to the old employees. Payments stopped, as they should have. HOWEVER, 2 months ago, a year after she stopped going, we started getting charged again, unauthorized charges. I just caught it (payments are once a week). I contacted them, and manager said that the old employees had set the payment freeze to re-start again two months ago, so I just had to fill in a cancellation form (I guess they did not have a record of everything I had submitted, but that was not my problem), and as soon as I turned in the form, I would get a refund. Ok. Sounded fair. This morning I get an automated email thanking me for my payment! I contact the manager and he says he has not received the form and that is why I got charged. Several issues with all this experience:
"I enrolled my son at D1 Training Colleyville Facility, and we couldn't be happier! The staff is friendly and genuinely cares about the athletes. Lakieath has made an awesome connection with my son and is such a good role model for him. Our other trainers Shakeem and Kingsley always do a great job of conducting hard workouts but make them fun to keep the kids engaged.
My son has not only improved his athletic skills but also gained confidence and made great friends. The focus on skill development and sportsmanship creates a positive environment. The facility has top-notch has state-of-the-art equipment, and the coaches are skilled and motivational. I highly recommend D1 Training Facility for anyone looking to...
